I went for the first time here and literally the next day I had to come back because there was a few more things that I wanted to get. The quality of the vegetables are good here. Everything I shared in the pictures are good. The limes are really juicy. I don't know why but I was really excited for that. The carrots are a really good size. I'm happy that I found this place to get all my vegetables at For now on this is my go-to spot for vegetables. Customer service was really friendly to.

Sadly this small mom and pop produce store is going out of business. It has some incredible and rare options. My heart is a little broken.It may be just be a temporary assessment of the store and perhaps they will review the inventory.

Love this little market. When produce is in season, the prices are really low. The produce may not appear perfect/pretty, but it doesn't matter if it's going right in your belly or being cooked. They also have a small international selection of dry and canned goods.

I was in La Mesa on business. I stopped in at Por Favor for lunch to discover that the La Mesa farmer's market was opening up. Prices ranged from two lbs for $5 to $5 per pound. I stopped at the Farmers Outlet on Friars Rd near the intersection of Mission Gorge Rd on the way home. I have driven by this store for 40 years without stopping by until I moved into the neighborhood. Prices were in some cases 10% the price in La Mesa e.g. tomatoes two pounds for a dollar compared to $5 a pound at the La Mesa Market. I bought corn, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, oranges, and grapefruit for $20, and that included $5 eggs and mustard.I highly recommend shopping for produce at #FarmersOutlet

It's been over a year I have been here.This is a hidden gem in San Diego, ample parking and the entrance is inviting with succulents and plants for sale at a very low price. Succulents in small nursing pots begin at $1.19.Their watermelons and canary melons are sweet. I asked a man approaching me for help to sleet the sweetest watermelon and canary melon. He showed me how to choose and he suggested the rambutans are sweet to and season for them almost ending. I find out he's the owner of the place and kind and helpful man.The store is very clean and organized.Prices are competitive and I love supporting local small businesses. The quality of produce and fruits is very good.I filled up my shopping cart with lots of nutritious and healthy goodies. Most of the store is filled with fresh fruits and veggies and a small section of Mexican condiments. They carry a good mixture of International items. I found my large can of garbanzo beans at $2.39 which is a steal so I can make homemade hummus.They have Julian apple pies.The place is very clean, friendly and supportive staff.I highly suggest coming here.

My hubby buys fruits for making his juices from this outlet. During the Covid-19 outbreak, we went together for the first time to buy a few things we needed. They had essentials items in stock as well, like bottle water.It was nice that they also carry some Mexican products too! We grabbed what we needed and were even able to use Apple pay. I'm glad that this place is so close to home and prices are affordable too.

Pretty empty when I came on Saturday afternoon. Thought there would be more of a crowd here. It's pretty small not as much variety in fruits and vegetables that I was hoping for. Found a few strawberry boxes that had mold in them. You'd think the staff would know something about their produce but nope, I asked about how to choose a good mango and the staff said she has no idea and walked away, how useful...It looks like a wannabe Trader Joe but it was so empty and not a very welcoming vibe to shop here.

Was on my way to drop off my dog at petco when I spotted this place! I love places like this when I lived in LA. So my curious self when to go look around. Everything looked super fresh and at great prices! If you are in the area this is a must see, the employee was super nice and came up to me to ask me how I was doing and if I had any questions!. I'm definitely coming back! (On a side note the parking was hard to find, but they have a parking area near where the streets are)

Now that is what a real peach looks like and is supposed to do. I just bought a whole melon Iv never tried( golden melon it's like a honey dew my favorite melon), a orange.(The thinner the skin the sweeter the orange) Best beleave I got the things most orange I like you can literally see what the orange would look like with no skin two mangos a huge tangerine and a evercrisp apple for a little over five dollars best store in the whole world they even have boxes of big name brand cereal for 2 for 7 OMG you know it's naturally grown cause there were and no duh cause there not in season god no more gmos for me and tomorrow's a big day great ending to a sad story and now on to new beginnings for sure.

Came across this farmers market while walking in the neighborhood and I'm so happy I did! This place has fresh local produce for amazing prices! The staff was so friendly too. Support your local businesses and come and get some fresh produce for an affordable price :)
