San Diego Cake

Cakes are the highlight of many celebrations - especially when we are looking for everyday reasons to celebrate togetherness and family nowadays but a custom cake can make the experience over the top and memorable to the point where it steals the show - if that's the kind of cake experience you're looking for then you've come to the right place!We have a family member who's birthday falls around Halloween and he is shall we say - a bit shy around clowns...especially Pennywise. And of course, every opportunity we get we try to work it into the celebration routine. This year we commissioned San Diego cake to make an "IT" themed birthday cake and the work was top notch! (See picture). We brought it out at the restaurant and he had to stifle his *ahem* startled response when he saw it. And that was our gift to ourselves! He later had to eat a piece that didn't include Pennywise's face on it since he was too frightened...delicious....oh yeah, the cake was good too ;)So if you want to go a bit above and beyond for your baked celebration needs look no further! San Diego cake is where sweet confections and artistry converge! And if you plan a bit - one can throw hilarity and a bit of friendly psychological torture as well!

I received my surprise cake from here, and it was so delicious!!! The strawberry cake was super moist and not overly sweet. I had to look up the company and bookmark it for future occasions. I highly recommend ordering cakes from here if you're looking for high quality, delicious cakes that are not overly sweet. The baker was featured on the Food Network! I am looking forward to placing an order here in the near future!

So excited for Jocelyn to have a store front that I can send all our friends to. She has done so many of our amazing custom cakes that we couldn't upload them all. Every cake she has made for us have all exceeded our expectations. She is very professional and her attention to detail is amazing. But not only do they look unbelievable they taste even better. We don't hesitate to order a cake from her whenever we have an event.It's always impressive to say that the person who made your cake was on the Food Network...she's famous :)

Jocelyn over at SD Cake Co created a custom cake for our daughter that was the hit of the party. Everyone was commenting on how detailed and pretty the cake was. She was easy to work with and flexible in designing the perfect cake. We'll be coming back for more!

We have ordered several times from Jocelyn the caker, and she is my favorite by far! The cakes, pies, cupcakes and cookies I have bought from her have never been anything but absolutely fabulous, not only beautiful to look at but the best combination of tastes and designs! I can not recommend this baker enough, if you want to blow your guests away with her amazing designs and flavors, you have found the best, look no further!

Jocelyn at San Diego Cake Co did an awesome job on may cake. It turned out even better than I expected and I can't believe how good it actually tasted too! The taste was just as good as it looked which is rare.I love donuts and she was very attentive on what I wanted but added her own creativity to it which I really appreciated. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and will definitely use her again for another event.

Not sure what happened but place was closed. Online said open and walked up it was covered and closed. Bummer, needed a birthday cake that evening.

Do you like being impressed over and over again? I do! I haven't found a treat I didn't like! They use quality ingredients for their wonderfully & uniquely crafted cookies, tarts, cakes....oh man, the cakes....Ordered one for my sisters baby shower and it was the talk of the town. San Diego Cake Co really knows how to bring your ideas to life. The design process, to the ordering process, all the way to the delivery was very prompt & professional. I've included a pic. The packaging is also nice if you just want to order one cupcake or treat to surprise a friend, your neighbor, a side boo, or even your sugar daddy (no judgement here)! The owner is pretty awesome. Her desserts are to die for. I had her chocolate mousse cake with strawberries? I forget the exact flavor but she made it for my birthday and it was all the rage. Please order it just once in your life. There was another lady who had a piece and said if she knew it was that good she would have had a bigger piece. It's a life changing experience. Woman has some serious talent.

They were able to make a cake for my boyfriend's 30th at a moment's notice. Literally the week of. Obviously the pandemic has hit these type of businesses hard so I was pleased to find they could accommodate that fast. She was very sweet and available for pickup on the day of. I will definitely be coming back for my cake needs in the future!
