I so wanted to try the coffees, licuados, tortas, and pastries. Posted hours for the coffee shop the day I went was 7am-6pm. It was 1:30pm when I arrived.I parked in the alley in front of the entrance. I noticed they had security patrols by the building. There is a recycling center in the alley across from the bakery, it was busy over there today!Sadly, the coffee/smoothie bar was closed, and I settled for regular brewed coffee, some pan dulce, and a pollo torta - two out of four things I wanted to try. The prices are very reasonable here. I almost ate one whole pan while waiting for my torta. It was sooo good. The girl at the counter was quick and friendly. My food came out within 10 minutes, behind customers that ordered two sandwiches as well. I didn't mind waiting for made to order at all.The torta was gigantic! Lots of pollo, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, frijoles, mayo, avocado, jalapenos. The taste was omg. Coffee was also good, just what I needed today.

3.5 starsCame to this bakery early morning to try one of their Breakfast Bolillos. They open at 5:30 which is nice to go before work or to grab something for the plane before your morning flight.I got the bacon bolillo; Bacon, mayo, cheese, beans and jalapeños on Bolillo bread. You can also order Reparados which is basically the same but on Telera bread. It was very reasonable at $5 given its large size and considering that McDonalds charges almost that much for a sausage McMuffin with egg these days. The bread was fresh and the egg freshly cooked to order, the jalapeño and mayo added a lot to the sandwich. The bacon however was chopped up and cooked into the egg, so it didn't stand out too much. I wish there were 2 whole slices on top. But for $5 its a great value. Knowing that the meat is chopped up and mixed with the egg, I think id go for another meat instead of bacon next time maybe ham or chorizo. They offer breakfast burritos for $8, breakfast sandwiches Bolillo or Reparados for $5, they also have regular meat (asada, pastor, pollo) tortas, tacos, burritos and quesadillas as well as bakery items as the name of the business states, the flan and cannolis look so good. Its located off of Linda Vista Road, they have their own parking lot which is nice. The entrance is not visible from the street, it faces the opposite direction of traffic, so it can be a little difficult to find. Theres also a coffee shop side to the shop with an espresso machine, which seemed to be closed at the time I visited. They also have fresh smoothies or juices I'll have to come back and try some of their other items.

I had a little breakfast at this place. It's an interesting place because it's essentially a bakery offering Mexican sweet bread, but they also have a kitchen where they prepare Mexican eats. For example, I had a trio of chorizo tacos, which I was bummed that they did not come with scrambled eggs mixed in with the chorizo. The tacos were tasty, but interestingly enough, the meat tasted more of Adobada than that traditional chorizo flavor. At any rate, they were tasty and came with freshly sliced avocado, which is also a plus. The place also has a little coffee shop inside but was not open when I came in. Service was nice and prices are less than you would find at a local taco shop.

TACOS TACOS TACOS!!! Gimme gimme tacos!! Yesssss!!! This place is hot!! I loved everything I tried!! Unfortunately they were all out of pollo :( buuuutttt my favorite so far was the birria!!! So much flavor even without queso, now that's saying something, most places rely on the cheese for flavor but not here!! It was sooooo juicy, flavorful, yummy goodness. The carne was great, the cabaza and al pastor were amazing and the tortillas were delicious!!! Hot sauces were all perfect with flavor and a punch in the face! Parking was small so good luck and the people were nice!

First time trying this place. I was craving a ham torta. Bread was soft. I left out the beans, so it didn't get soggy. I was happy with it. It tasted good. Also picked up some Mexican bread for my coffee tomorrow morning.

Carne Asada burrito + cilantro & beans: Tasted really good! Met my expectations. $10 for a good sized burrito. It was a tad greasy for my liking but I'd definitely still go back & order it again. Red salsa had lots of flavor & just enough spice. Pan dulce: I got an elote & a concha. I liked the elote more out of the two. They were $1.50 each. Service was good! It took a while to get my food but probably because many people had called in their orders ahead of time. Worth the wait.

San Diego Bakery randomly popped up on Yelp with one review from a few weeks ago but has pictures from a several months ago. Guess they moved or something? Idk. Anyways, I tried some pan and it was good albeit slightly dry! I found their pan to be comparable to pan from the better panaderias in town, and much better than the Mexican markets around. I didn't grow up eating it but my girlfriend did, and she said the same. Just make sure to transfer it to a plastic bag if you're not finishing it on the same day. That breakfast though.I've tried some bolillos (huevos con tocino and huevos a la mexicana) and a burrito (huevos a la mexicana con asada) and they were all goooood, and also very fair in pricing. The bakery/torta shop I used to go to got pricy over the years, so I'm so glad to have found this place. Although I haven't tried the tortas from San Diego Bakery yet. That's next! The licuado was also very good! Fruit is prepped fresh in front of you, and... drumroll...It's not too sweet!! (Which is really best Asian compliment, right?) I forgot to take a pic of the licuado menu but we tried the fresa, fresa con platano, and mango, and they were all super delicious. $6 each. The licuado and coffee menu also have Korean translations too, which I found pretty cool. Will definitely be coming back, and probably often!Oh also tacos after 5pm

We ordered chilaquiles, chorizo c papas burrito, Licuado d Chocolate c Plátano, pan (puerquito, conchas), & an Oatmilk Latte. Food: I asked if the chilaquiles were spicy. Answer: no. They're mild but we can make them not spicy. They were so spicy they made my nose runny & I couldn't finish them! They were made with corn chips. Pan: TBD. Licuado: ok. Watery. Coffee: very good! The burrito was mediocre. Red chorizo? Weird. Service: average. Ambiance: hot! Maybe due to baking the bread? I don't know. It was too hot in there and looked like they just started the business recently. Needs work.
