I LOVE the tuna salmon tower here. Each bite has a different flavor and texture so it's really fun to eat I especially love the part where you get to mush it all together. This tower comes with rice, avocado, crab salad, tuna, salmon, black tobiko, green onions, JP mustard sauce, and yummi sauce. MMMMMMM goodness. I love this spot.fun fact- one of the times I got a tuna tower here was after my cat died in high school, I skipped school the next day and my dad took me to get a tuna tower to cheer me up. Yummi Sushi is hands down one of my favorite sushi spots in San Antonio, and it's no surprise that even a random coworker--who doesn't live nearby--mentioned how great it is. That's how good this place is! Every time I visit, the experience is consistently top-notch. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. The sushi is always fresh, which is a must for me, and they're more than happy to customize your rolls if you want to swap ingredients or add something extra. Their shrimp and vegetable tempura are particularly delicious--perfectly cooked shrimp paired with fresh, crisp veggies make for a satisfying and flavorful bite. You honestly can't go wrong eating here. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or just looking for a solid meal, Yummi Sushi delivers every time. I'll definitely keep coming back! Highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Hidden gem!! My mom actually discovered this little restaurant during a visit in the HEB plaza down the street from our home! It's nestled between the UPS Store and an alterations shop and has dark curtains/blacked out windows that don't allow you to see it. So you see why it's literally hidden, haha. At any rate, don't judge a book - or restaurant in this case - by its cover!! The food is DELICIOUS!! We've gotten the veggie, chicken, and combo (beef, chicken and shrimp) fried rice, miso soup, edamame (steamed and garlic), teriyaki beef bento meal, California roll, shrimp tempura roll, and chicken teriyaki meal and they were ALL fresh, flavorful and plentiful! I didn't give it a 5-star rating just because I've had better sushi rolls, but we will absolutely be coming back again and again! Highly recommend for some fresh & tasty Japanese food :) We got take out, but will have to come back for dining in the neighborhood hidden gem ;)

Always a good meal at Yummi! Service is always on point sad the rolls are always consistent and large. My only gripe is the cost of the nigiri, but the portion of the fish makes up for it. Definitely one of our go-to's for sushi!!

Wifey and I have been here numerous times this. Ambiance is nice with quiet music in the background. We've never had to wait for a seat. The staff are attentive and friendly. Service is prompt. The menu is broad with many sushi and sashimi options, all excellent. The cooked dishes are great. This is our go-to Japanese restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is probably the third time I have been to this location for a random late lunch and every single time the food has been delivered quickly, hot and portioned very generously!The last two times, I believe I had the same person serving me, "Nate" is the name in my receipt. He was very polite - beyond expectations. Was very attentive without hovering. I highly recommend giving this place a try and ask for Nate.

The food was absolutely amazing! The staff was so kind and the service was amazing! We came to eat here while we are on our honeymoon and they are such kind people! If we come back this way ever again we will definitely be stopping by to eat again!!!!

The best roll for me is the tempura soft shell it's sooo delicious! Every is affordable and staff are really nice and are always checking up on you to ensure your needs are met.

Ramen was bland and tastes like 27¢ Top Ramen.... except it's $15. But the Avocado Dynamite appetizer was great!
