You get what is advertised! Authentic sandwich with all the flavors and ingredients that you expected. Real nice cozy atmosphere with free parking and great staff to answer any questions about your food. Well worth the money and the trip. Alone or with friends or family or both. You will be tempted to get one to take home after you eat on here, for later! It's just that good.

Authentic and incredibly fresh Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. I recommend getting it with onions, green bell peppers, and mushrooms with American white cheese. However, unless you want a cheese heart attack, do not order the cheese fries. The cheese is WAY too THICK!! If the cheese was thinner, they would be delicious, but my husband and I could only eat a few of them before calling it quits. Too thick! Remember, this is a small business you're supporting, so the prices are not the cheapest. The ambience is nice and homey. Love the vibe and the service is nice.

Since I didn't have anything scheduled around lunch time I drove out this way. They have a very small menu but all I can say is wow. I do a lot of traveling and every site I manage, has a restaurant that I designate. This place is now my official Cibolo area restaurant.The beef cheesesteak had lots of flavor. The white American cheese added the extra salt that I'm always looking for. I was a little disappointed in my onions not being grilled a little longer. I had several bites of raw crunchy onion. The bread was AMAZING. Fresh, soft on the inside and sturdy enough not to fall apart with the meat. The crinkled fries stayed crunchy to the last piece. I also really enjoyed the funnel cake fries. The place is small, had about 6 2 seat tables and about 6 more 4 seat tables. No table service, you order at counter and go up to pick up your order

Best cheesesteak sandwiches in San Antonio. Wonderful place, they treat you well here. I prefer mine with onions, peppers, and cheese whiz. I also like the seasoned fries. I highly recommend.

Nice employees. Good food. Chicken Philly with grilled onions and peppers and provolone. Definitely hit the spot. In want my fries to have some crunch to it, but these were still good. I have eaten here for lunch several times. It is always good and filling! They have a lunch special that my office usually goes for. The lunch special comes with a cheesesteak sandwich, a soda and fries! The sandwich is always full of meat, and lightly seasoned. I like to order the seasoned fries with my meal for a bit of extra flavor. Definitely recommend trying it out if you need a all around good spot!

If you are looking for customer service.... Do not stop here. The staff has very little interest in being polite, welcoming you to the restaurant or even being the slightest bit friendly. When I arrived the woman working didn't even greet me. She acted like I was a huge bother to her. When my order was ready a man was calling out a number but it wasn't my number but I was the only person waiting for a to go order and I'd been waiting awhile. So, I walked up to the counter & I showed him my ticket & asked if he was calling for my order. He rudely said yes. He was the one calling out the WRONG number. Instead of apologizing for calling out the wrong number he just said yeah & handed my order to me. I know it's hard to find good help but these employees are definitely making it clear that they hate their job & that they do NOT care about the customers. As for the two sandwiches I ordered.... I ordered two Philly cheesesteaks. The end of my sandwich was actually cut off with a knife. My friends wasn't so that makes me wonder what was wrong w the end of the bread on my sandwich. The bread was hard so all I could think was... mold? Moving on....The sandwich itself consisted of a lot of bread w some very bland meat, some melted cheese & a few (I think 2) slices of mushrooms. The meat desperately needed some kind of seasoning. It was just blah & dry. I really value others opinions so I'm so confused by some of the other reviews I have read that gave this place good reviews. I wish I had instead listened to the advice from the 1 & 2 star reviews.Honestly, I hate to waste food & I hate to waste money but I ended up just giving the majority of this sandwich to my dog (just the meat). (So, it wasn't a complete waste) He ate it.

I had the Philly cheesesteak last week which was excellent and had to make a return trip. This week, I tried the Italian hoagie and it was amazing. They don't skimp on the ingredients and everything is really fresh.

Best Philly subs in Universal city, San Antonio area. The inside of restaurants has lots of Philly memorabilia on the walls.
