Wild West Burgers

They make their burgers fresh daily. They make their buns in house with a gluten free option. Both buns taste great as well as the burgers. I highly recommend this place. Best to sorry locally owned restaurants over the big chain. Today the cost is actually the same.

In their new location, they are serving up a few different burgers. The "ranch burger" is a cheeseburger with ranch on the side, we were thinking ranch seasoning was cooked into the burger. Sweet buns really make the burgers stand out. They have a kids menu, kids burger are the same size as adults, chicken nuggets, and grilled cheese. All meals come with a drink and fries. No coke products available, Pepsi coming soon, but have a variety of Sunkist sodas, canned fruit punch, apple juice boxes, water, and big red. The place is clean with plenty of seating. High chairs available. Staff was friendly.

Checked out this little neighborhood burger joint and had a great dining experience. Why did we wait so long to try it? Location. Even though it's just a few minutes away, we rarely travel on Borgfeld for anything and, as they say, "out of sight, out of mind." It's just one of those places that doesn't come to mind because it's on a road less traveled. That will now change. We were greeted by friendly staff in a clean and tidy restaurant with plenty of seating for smaller and larger groups. We were given an explanation of the menu options, and placed our order - mushroom Swiss meal and a bacon cheeseburger meal. Each came with hot and crispy seasoned fries and our choice of any beverage from the cooler (lots to choose from!) Everything is made to order so don't expect it to arrive in fast-food time, but you can expect it to be hot and freshly prepared. Burgers were huge and seasoned perfectly, giving them a nice flavor. I actually had to smash mine down a bit to take a bite! Loved the fries even though I typically prefer regular fries. The buns are slightly sweet and a little more dense than a typical bun, but complemented everything nicely. I would have preferred the patties to be more on the medium side and slightly juicier, but that didn't detract from the fact that it was a really tasty burger. The total for two was $27, which is very fair for the quality and quantity, and fast food will run the same or more. Definitely check them out!

Good restaurant where people go to buy food to eat. Been going here a lot recently with my nephew and they are a hidden gem when it comes to burgers. If you're a little wild like me, you'll love these Wild West Burgers. The Western Burger here is delicious with relish and a cream soda pop on the side. Owner is a very kind man and polite. Come support this small business!

So glad we chose Wild West Burgers tonight for dinner! This locally owned restaurant has great friendly service! They were so accommodating with our 1 year old grand daughter as well! The burgers were some of the best we have ever had, they won't disappoint! The fry's were perfectly crispy just the way I love them. We really enjoyed visiting with and getting to know the owner and their history of being in business. They made us feel like friends even though we just met! If you haven't been you're missing out on an amazing locally owned burger joint!

The wife and I stopped by this place off Borgfeld Rd here in San Antonio. Reviews were good and we knew them from their previous location. Burgers were good (not as good as old place) and the fries were yummy. Not sure why we needed a buzzer when we got our order because we were the only ones there! The staff doesn't wait on you, you just order at the counter and then go get it when the buzzer vibrates. The place was clean and had a new "strip center" feel. Nothing special except the car show was on the TV monitor.

Arrived to a nice, clean restaraunt. In a strip next to a vet and Nektar juice. First impression are the burgers are expensive starting around $13 but come with fries. Domestic beer is $3.75 a bottle. Limited choices on beers. My jalapeño cheese burger and lite beer was $17.55It was fairly busy for a Thursday night with about 8-9 full tables. It took about 20 min to get my burger. What I liked: the bun was great. The meat was juicy. Overall not a bad burger.My personal preference on jalapeños - not a fan of pickled or canned jalapeños on a burger. I prefer fresh or grilled. You should try this place.

Y'all, if you haven't had one of their burgers, you are missing out! They are delicious and filling! If you like ice with your soda, just bring your own cup of ice. The burgers are worth it! You will not be disappointed!

Chicken sandwich was really good. The sitting area is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the people and atmosphere.Service was quick and the food was very tasty.Nice little small place that I will come visit again.Thank you

This is a new place to our area, it had been located farther out but moved closer to us, Yea. The menu is pretty simple, almost all burgers of some style or another. We chose the cheeseburger. Don't be put off by the seemingly high price. It includes your fries and a drink. The burger is on a very good bun that I really can't describe so I won't try. The patty is 1/2 lb not the 1/4 or 1/3 you get for a 'cheaper' burger. The generous portion of fries are preseasoned. It's a pretty good burger (it could use a little salt) and the 'Rib' loved it and the fries. The drinks (sodas) are canned. The place is nice and new inside and very clean. I hope it does well as we have so few places to eat out here. Nice change from the fast food places near us.
