Fantastic value and meat quality was amazing (had the bbq + hot pot options). No frills, just good food. Service was okay. Was maybe slightly disappointed by our waitress, who was not very frequently visiting our table (it was a Monday lunch, not the busiest time) so we always had to flag her down, and we were informed of 'last round' at about 90 minutes in rather than the stated 2 hours. We were about done anyways, so it wasn't a big deal...

Last night's dinner was kind of a let down unfortunately. We selected this restaurant for my son's birthday because he loves sushi and Korean bbq. The restaurant couldn't accommodate a table for our group size so we had to sit at separate tables, then they had really strict rules for ordering so my son didn't get to sit at the table with his friends because they wanted different menu items, and the staff wouldn't make any compromises even though I explained that it was his birthday dinner. They still added the 20% gratuity to everyone checks as if we were a large party even though they split us up at different tables. Then the kicker, as we're getting ready to leave we had to wait an extra few minutes to get our checks back because our waitress left to go do a happy birthday presentation at another table, but never even asked us if we wanted them to sing to my son. All in all the food was a 6/10 and the service was a 4/10. 1 star DO NOT recommend, especially for larger groups. JPOT in Dove Creek has much better service, pricing, and menu options. Plus a larger sauce bar that includes more.

My visiting family wanted to eat at a Kbbq place with hot pot. We decided on Wild Japanese as we haven't tried it yet. The location overall was easy to get to, the parking was decent (we used disabled parking), and it was around 4 pm with no wait time (crazy!). We got seated immediately despite our group size (7 with kids & an elderly disabled parent). The overall environment was clean, not noisy (music wasn't blasting in our ears) so we can talk / hear each other, and the servers were very pleasant to speak to. You can choose 2 out of 3 options ( hotpot, sushi, or Kbbq ). We all decided on hotpot and Kbbq. The variety isn't too large where you're scrambling to figure out want you want to eat. There is a 2 hour limit so try to get as many rounds in as you can! It was hard for us to cook, eat, and feed the kids & an elderly parent ( coordination we all didn't prepare for ). But we all had a great time! We plan to go back to try the sushi and hotpot instead of kbbq to see if that is easier to coordinate (to ensure we get our fill and then some). Since we were all so busy.. I couldn't take photos. When we go back I'll take photos! Hotpot orders were: Tonkatsu broth - not too heavy and very nice.Szechuan Broth (if you like spicier, go to the sauce bar and add their chili oil to make it even more spicy ) Tom yum - has a kick but doesn't linger and is really nice tasteI recommend the udon noodles for any broth - if you let it sit for a bit it soaks up the flavor really well. So good! One thing that we saw is that the person bringing the dishes for our soups/kbbq kept bringing other tables orders. It happened about twice which I can see why considering each person can order 3 things for each option (kbbq and hotpot) at a time. Maybe it is overwhelming with a table of 7? It's a lot even for me! It didn't bother us though and we made sure she knew it was okay. But she seemed stressedNote: I'd put a timer on your phone or watch for the 2 hour mark to ensure you reach two hours. (We didn't reach our two because we had an engagement to attend) but it's something we learned in past experiences.

Service was great! They keep the restaurant super cool which is so comfortable since the cooktops are warming. I had never been to hot pot before and loved it!! The bulgogi beef was a favorite, but all of the meat was great. I got the rice noodles and they were hard to fish out of the soup (kept falling apart). I would get ramen next time!

A pretty solid Japanese BBQ & Shabu AYCE location in San Antonio. It wasn't too busy when I came on a Saturday which was a plus. Service from all the staff is pretty friendly and the ambiance is what you're looking for in a restaurant like this. Like others have said, the service is also very quick and attentive. I would say my only gripe is that the store does lack having good air conditioning and ventilation so it can get pretty hot inside.Value wise it is pretty on par with any other BBQ/Hotpot spot. I chose the Supreme BBQ option which is $43.95 for adults and $26.95 for kids ages 12 and under.I like that they offer BBQ and hotpot because I am often craving both things at once. I ordered the Tonkotsu broth for myself and it had a nice rich, creamy, and savory flavor to it. The meat quality is pretty good and I honestly like the selections they offer at the topping bar as well such as sesame balls, kimchi, etc. There is also a time limit, but you never feel rushed by the staff which is also appreciated.

This place was such a great experience. Cooking your own food and ordering food back to back is such a fun thing to do. The price is awesome for all you can eat, I especially liked that which ever package you choose it has a verity of options. There's several different way you can cook your food my personal favorite was the meats on the center griddle. If you are into trying new foods and interacting while you eat this is the perfect spot. It's a quick service, they immediately bring out the food when you order but it's awesome because you can take your time and cook things how you like it. I went here as a date and we were able to sit for about 2-3 hours taking our time cooking. I would definitely come again, recommend this spot for a fun and unique eat.

Everything to be honest, the food was amazing, great quality, the service was excellent as well, the waiters were supper respectful. The ambiance as well, you can talk with people so calmly, maybe something I don't really like is if more than 3 people sit at a table, there almost no space for you to move freely and comfortably, which is why I give it 4 starts instead of 5. But everything is good, I totally recommend it

We love coming to Wild JBBQ!! Today (1/17/25) when we joined for dinner, we had an amazing experience as always. Food is great, experience is amazing and the service and staff are so friendly and accommodating. Our server Jessi, was so kind and helpful and checked in with us so often. Even when faced by an incredibly rude older man complaining about the spice level of the soup broth, Jessi handled the situation with grace and poise. She is just one great example of how great this restaurant is. Cannot wait to return and see our favorite server.
