Owned by Jerri, a great local gal who also deejays at one of the local bars. Jerri took over WLL a couple of years ago. Now, you'll find a HUGE selection of your favorite spirits -- whiskeys, rums, vodkas, pre-mixed beverages, and all the rest. You'll also find a nice selection of wines. The shelves are full of your favorites!Hours are reasonable -- Jerri stays open until 10 p.m. but is closed, of course, on Sunday and most holidays.Note that the Google map on this page isn't quite correct. White Lightening Liquor is in the small strip mall co-located with the Centerpoint Shell Station at the intersection of FM 775 and New Sulphur Springs Road (FM 3423/FM 319) right next door to Mike Fulmer Realty. This location is about halfway between La Vernia and US 181 on FM 775.Ask for the military discount and proudly display your military ID!

This place is such an amazing find. Every time I visit my family in Floresville I have to visit White Lightning. They have a great selection of whiskey. The best part is that they always have something special that I can't ever find at bigger chain stores. I've never met the owner, but the two gentlemen that have helped me (the two separate times I've shopped there) have been knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The only downside is I have to drive 2 and 1/2 hours to visit this fantastic shop. Y'all living near this place are very lucky. I can't wait to go back!
