What's Brewing Drive Thru Coffee

I have been getting coffee and vegan toaster pastries here for years. After today, I am never going back. The staff is clearly unhappy and is directing their unhappiness toward their customers. I don't trust eating food from a place with staff that are angry and I think if their employees are so unhappy, the company should be out of business. Do San Antonio a favor and close this location.

Arrived on a Sunday morning to be greeted by the nicest baristas! The hut is a little drive-thru coffee place, no entering the building but they do have a little seating area with umbrellas on the outside. There's no points system here, however there is military/first responder discount.The hot chocolate I ordered was simple yet scrumptious! The prices are fair for the quality of products they use. I highly recommend anyone to try what they have to offer here!

I think I found my new favorite iced mocha.I've always been a fan of the What's Brewing location on Rhapsody. It's my idea of a candy store where there are tons of coffees to pick from and take home. They make a delicious cortado, and have lots of pinball games. It's like a clubhouse built just for me.So when they took over that drive thru spot on Blanco I knew I had to try it. That spot is a little cursed though; I've never seen a place last there for more than, say, three years. I remember when they were Moondollars, and then Scooter's. I'm hoping What's Brewing can break the curse and make this spot last.Interestingly enough, I found the menu for this tiny drive up a little bit more varied than their main spot! They have actual food! THEY HAVE AVOCADO TOAST. So that was a no brainer.I wanted to try their mid-nitro cold brew but they were out, so instead I opted for a mocha and I am so glad I did. This is the adult version of chocolate milk, guys. It is NOT sweet. It's in fact pretty bitter but in a GREAT way. I mean it, it's not bad-bitter, it's delicious-bitter. There's a difference.The avocado toast was also yummy. The toast was very crunchy, and the ingredients were very, very fresh and it had a nice, acidic vinaigrette dressing. And it was $4! Who'd a thunk one slice of toast topped with fresh veg would get me full? The staff is awesome and sweet, they were all wearing masks. Payment was pretty much touch-free. All in all, the drive thru is a winner and it's close enough to visit semi-regularly on weekends.

Pre-covid, I would visit their coffee stand at the Pearl Farmers Market every weekend. I recently realized that they have a location on Blanco and decided to swing on by. The location/set up is not stellar, but the coffee is great! I usually go for one of their cold brews, but this time opted for an iced latte since the cold brew was unavailable. I can confidently say that the latte is fantastic as well. They have a nice assortment of pastries and quick bites that you can enjoy with your coffee. Definitely check this place out, just make sure to use caution in the parking lot/drive thru.

I've been coming here for a little over a month, I don't go everyday but I've tried several different menu options. The coffee is great! The staff is so friendly & are always so patient with my ENDLESS questions! Their breakfast sidecar was really tasty! I ate half for breakfast & saved half for lunch. Let me tell you, even cold it tasted amazing! My hands down absolute favorite things though? Their banana berry smoothie!!! It's not only good but also refreshing & filling. I love their iced latte, I get mine with caramel sauce & almond milk.

Awesome coffee and amazing avocado toast!! Soooo good. They also have breakfast sandwiches that are really good! Super friendly staff and quick, efficient service. Would definitely recommend.

this is definitely my new coffee spot. I got a hot gold mine and a raspberry danish. the coffee was so delicious. the danish was too much bread versus topping for me, but it was tasty. the staff had on masks and gloves and they were very, very sweet.

Every time I come here it's a pleasant experience. The employees are always super friendly, service is speedy, and the coffee is even better. I usually get the iced and have zero complaints about the iced mocha or Sami. The avocado toast is delicious too

OMG!! I am so sad!! I have been waiting to get the avocado toast from my favorite place but was sadden by the change from fresh chunky avocado to avocado paste. If I wanted that I would have gone to Dunkin Donuts or another place with paste.

Their coffee is great and my dog always gets a treat but I'm so done giving the avocado toast a chance. When it's good it's great, but 75% of the time it's stale or looks like this.
