Great food, great people inside too. If you're looking for soul food, this is a great spot.

I will come back to San Antonio, Texas just for this spot! The food was UH-mazing. I mean, everything was good from the entrées to the sides to the desert and down to the Kool-Aid. The food was fresh and seasoned very well and cooked to the perfect temperature. The owners greeted us with Southern hospitality and made our experience very enjoyable.

I absolutely devoured the delicious 1 entree 2 sides which were such great portions, i had enough for the next day :) ordered the fresh hot crispy well seasoned fish, the fry on it is so light and crunchy it pairs well with a hot sauce. ate up the mashed potatoes and gravy, along with the cheesy oooygooy mac&cheese! definitely going back for the cornbread and banana pudding :p

We were passing through town and came across this place. It was SO GOOD. Especially the wings were amazing!!

This food is mad good! If you're looking for some home cooked soulfood, you have got to try this little gem. While I'm mostly plant based, I do get a craving for some good soul food sometimes, and what better way to satisfy that craving by supporting a local business! This little spot has limited hours and some may think the prices are high, but I'm telling you, it's worth it. It runs out of a tiny trailer parked in front of a car dealership but don't let that sway you from trying something on the menu. I had shrimp and fish with greens and mac n cheese! Everything was seasoned well. The mac n cheese was creamy and oh so yummy. I literally had to eat my food in 2 sessions, the portions were so big! Keep in mind, they only accept cash or you can pay with Cashapp! You have to go check this place out and support local SATX businesses!

Im from Denver and Im in San Antonio for work. The food here was so delicious and fresh. i corded catfish yams and greens. I Highly recommend if you are in town.

This establishment needs a renovation from the parking lot to the inside. There are abandoned cars in the parking lot, once inside it's dark with exposed extension cords running on the floor (danger). The restaurant/ house looks like it needs a deep cleaning. Floors look as if it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. They're also accepting "CashApp" payments to a personal CashApp as opposed to a business or you can pay cash. There were customers whom I assumed the restaurant knew because those customers were eating then getting up going to the back behind the curtain where food is being cooked (unsanitary). YIKES!! The service was lacking as well, no greeting, I didn't even get a Thank you or anything. I also attempted to call in an order using the phone that's listed on the Yelp Business page, no answer but someone text me back with "Who this?" Just unprofessional as a business establishment all around. I wish the culture would do better as business owners and live up to the expectations they look for when they dine at certain restaurants. After all of that, I still wanted to give them a try, the food was good which is why I'm giving two stars. I will not be back however as there are other places with better service and establishment that are more trustworthy.

Well thank the lucky stars!! I found this awesome of all awesomeness place to eat! The atmosphere alone was so welcoming, but the food!! Oh my goodness!! Everything we had was DELICIOUS!! If you are looking for some good southern food this is the place. They were all so friendly. I will definitely go again.
