Wayne's Wings

I saw a video on Tiktok and was excited to try this place. Overall I think it was just okay. If my favorite item were the fries it's not a 5 star restaurant.The tx honey bee were the favorite out of the 3 flavors we ordered. I'd give those 4 stars. The Buffalo were okay 3 stars and the garlic Parmesan were really dry, 2 stars.The fries were so crispy and flavorful. 5 starts! I was told the small was a kid size portion but we received a large basket full. Did not seem small to me.The sauces are extra which is surprising. With the prices I would expext 1 side of ranch or blue cheese and maybe charge extra if you want any additional.The soda machine had 2 soda flavors out of order. I wish I knew before ordering 2 fountain drinks. The bathroom was scary and no toilet paper or toilet paper holder! It didn't help that when we left I saw a cockroach running across the exit door. I hope it wasn't inside.

The location we went too was very low key. We found Wayne's wings on Yelp. My daughter is forever chasing the PERFECT WING. The vibe is low key laid back. They have a good variety of sauces. The prices were above what we expected. About 18$ for 6 wings and potato wedges. We decided to go ahead and try it out anyways. I honestly enjoyed the wedges with the parm seasoning better than the wings. The wings I found small and fatty. Not cooked crispy like we enjoy. Maybe we needed to ask for extra crispy. Service was ok. You order up front - they give you a cup for your drink - coke products or tea or lemonade- seat yourself and they do bring your food to you. They were steady with business so obviously people know of them and like them. Just not sure it was our kind of place.

I went here on a Friday night because my son brought home some wings from this restaurant a couple of years ago and they were really good. It is a small place in a not so nice looking strip mall and it's very busy on Friday nights. This was my first and last time going to Wayne's Wings.We waited over and hour (two people) to get the wings to go. Once we were home and started eating them, they just did not taste like the ones we had a couple of years ago. A staff member told me Thursdays are a better day because they are super busy on Fridays, and calling in for to-go orders also works better. I don't plan on ever trying to find out.

Yum. Yum. Yum. Breaded fried traditional wings with endless sauce choices. Yes please. I need more people to patronize this place so they can lower their prices a bit, which would be my one critique. Other than that, this place is delicious!!!

The wings were FABULOUS! They were humongous, too! Like RAPTOR LEGS! Hubby picked them up and said the service was also top-notch!

Best wings in town ! Tried a couple of their sauces and they're all so good , if you're in the area definitely would recommend trying them out

great tasting wings and service. Online ordering tool is excellent, with pickup scheduling and easy Use. Text messages status your order and say when it is ready so you can wait in the car. I pulled up 4 minutes before my pickup time and got a text it was ready as I pulled into my parking space. Tried Texas Honeybee and Honey Buffalo flavors and loved them!

Ok. I tried Wayne's years ago when they were still on Austin Hwy... and to be honest I wasn't feeling it. But, my hubby wanted to try it, so I thought I'd give it another try. So. Glad. I. Did. We got the 20 piece (four flavors), fries, and 6 boneless to feed six of us... and there's so much left! These wings are huge. And fresh. And battered... which adds a nice, perfect crunch. We were rang in and served by two young teenagers... super kind and helped us chose flavors. We ended up with Buffalo (my lips are still on fire), lemon pepper, spicy lemon pepper and! Spicy honey. I would die for those spicy honey wings. She asked me what flavor I wanted on my wings, I was scared and said nothing lol. Next time, spicy honey 100%. 12/10 for sure!On a side note, I used to assist the owner, Wayne, a few years back and my old job and he was always so kind. I loved looking at all the pics he's got on the tvs in the dining area.

I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY!Home of the Buffalo wing, so I have consumed thousands of wings from hundreds of places across the country. Someone recommended if I was in SA to go to Wayne's. So I did just that.Been in the area for 6 weeks and have to go back at least once a week. Hands down the best wings I have ever had, yes I get it they are fried chicken and breaded but worth every penny! Going to miss them when I have to depart the area. My recommendation is bone in, TX honey bee and Dukes. Keep up the amazing stuff Wayne's!

1st thing I want to say is that I love Wayne's and it saddens me to give a 3 star review. I ordered garlic parmesan 10 piece boneless and Kay Kay mix 10 piece. The garlic parmesan was terribly dry, so very dry, disappointed on the other hand the Kay Kay was great. I called to let them know and all they could say was that they were sorry, nothing to try to resolve issue. Oh well. This was at the new location on Culebra. PS. I would advise to check any/all the dry rubs before leaving the store. Don't want this to happen to anyone else.
