We ordered take-out from Vietnamese Express while visiting San Antonio and enjoyed the flavors as well as the price. The chicken pho ($14) was a very large portion of chicken and bean sprouts, though with no other veggies except cilantro. It was definitely enough for two people, as was the iced tea ($3.50) which was almost 3x times the size of a soda can - guess everything really is bigger in Texas! The summer rolls ($7.50 for 2) had both pork and shrimp and came with a great peanut dipping sauce.

Went at around 4:30pm, very quick service, food was out faster than I expected, all of it was fresh and hot. Love how you can select your preferred spicy level with the noodles. We love the crab rangoons, they're the best in town.

We had the sesame chicken lunch special. It comes with the chicken ... white rice and two crab Rangoon for 11.99$ I got the chicken vermicelli bowl which was sooooo good. I like to mix them all together and add sarachi sauce! It makes for a delish meal! The owner Jackie is sooo nice and very accommodating. She was quick to serve us and so helpful. The place has a small but cute feel to it! You guys go check it out!

First, I don't know if this restaurant changed ownership or just changed the name, but the name is now "Pho - Banh Mi"Second, I'm glad that I decided to go there on a whim - the number of one-star reviews here probably would have scared me away.I ordered the "V1. Grilled Pork Fried Spring Rolls Vermicelli", which wasn't the cheapest thing on the menu, but I was rewarding myself for getting in a short run and my steps for the day. I found everything to be flavorful - especially the grilled pork and the fried spring roll. I liked that there were some vegetables in the dish; and probably would have enjoyed more of them.The person manning the front of the business was attentive and immediately greeted me upon entry and seated me with a menu right away. She also seemed to notice when I was ready to order. The food was brought out very quickly - and the fried spring roll was very freshly hot!The ambiance is nothing to write home about, but that's to be expected for a "strip mall with a drive through" storefront. Everything looked clean. All-in-all, was happy with my experience and may return if I'm back in this part of San Antonio.

Great little hidden gem. My husband and I had summer rolls. He had the chicken vermicelli bowl and I had the spring roll vermicelli bowl. Every thing was delicious!!Although there were only two people waiting tables they were both friendly and efficient.We will definitely return next time we are in town!!

Love this place. Boyfriend and I go at least 3 times a month. Always get a banh mi with the roasted pork and a bowl of noodles (pho or the bun bo hue) or a pork chop plate. It hits every time and the service is always great and consistent.
