The food here is good, however the price of all you can eat has gone up 3 dollars within the last year and they have reduced their military discount. Even if you're paying the whole check they only take the discount from YOUR all you can eat price instead of the whole bill. Additionally, they overcharge you. I visited a few days ago and was told I was given the military discount but upon checking the receipt again I found that they charged me the regular amount. Upon further investigation, I realized they also charged me more than the total after my tip. So not only have they increased the price and decreased the military discount, they are also overcharging their customers and taking more than the bill says. Needless to say I will not be returning here.

I've put off this review for 3 visits now. These photos are from my very last visit to Umiya. Food wise, this place has only gotten better with each visit. Wonderful rolls with wild flavors, interesting and unique textures. My fiancé and I have no issues with the food service, it's extremely fast and always the right temperature. The restaurant is beautiful inside, very pretty decor!Here's my issue: customer service. Every time we have gone, there is some odd issue with one of the wait staff. The first visit was a young guy my age (mid 20's) who said the kitchen cook didn't like him which is why our food wasn't good, and would talk to us for upwards of 20 minutes about the issue every visit. Our 2nd visit was fine, waitress was fast and came around to take orders often. 3rd visit, just rude. Came up to our table and asked "what do you want" multiple times, never refilled drinks, barely let us finish talking, let alone eat. Every time my fiancé and I were in the middle of eating she'd come around and just stand at our table end and wait. We also got sat in a room where our table was the only one our waitress came to, and we're unsure why we got sat there. Empty restaurant and got sat next to a large group of rowdy men. We are thinking this was our last visit to the restaurant physically. If you're thinking of eating here, just get it to go.

I'm a woman of my word so I had to update my review since last visiting and say my to go order was 10x better! I originally had said I wouldn't be back, but they are super affordable so I wanted to give it another try. I got the sweet potato roll, philadelphia roll, and the hawaii roll (shrimp tempura with avocado topped with kani and some other goodies) and they were all delicious! They even packed me up some wasabi, soy sauce, and ginger with the to go which I forgot to ask for so that was a great find when I opened the bag lol

We went on the 14th and it was packed! We waited almost 2 hours but the wait for me was worth it. The staff was lovely and have everyone a rose. It's decorated super cute and it's def aesthetically for cute picture taking. The sushi rolls are so cute our fave is the harbor bridge and Lexi roll. It's is all you can eat, the miso soup and shrimp tempura is so good. I recommend this place for sure thank you guys for being so consistent on quality and service.

A really strong 4 star rating to this lovely establishment! We chose this place on a whim driving by, and couldn't be more happy about that decision.There's an outdoor patio, huge indoor bar area, a hibachi area, and regular dining tables/booths. Suffice to say, this is a huge space! Lots of pretty hanging lights. Really busy fun atmosphere. We did all you can eat at dinner time for about $31 per person. It included appetizers, soups, salads, sushi and a portion of hibachi. Great value! The servers were ON it, keeping up with the orders. The kitchen was a little turned around dropping off the food to the right person at the bar, but it was all the more fun.Long story short; order the Mussels! The Philadelphia roll. Lobster calaca roll. Crab puffs (crab rangoon). Fried Shrimp. Spicy Garlic edamame. Yellowtail. Peppered tuna.Only two things were a miss for me; the spicy crunch roll- not crunchy at all. Actually too mushy to enjoy. And the paradise roll. Wasn't bad, just not for me! First time having a SWEET sushi roll, though! Still an experience.I had a great time and I loved the value for the price. Call me the Terminator, cause "I'll be back!"

Solid AYCE sushi place. It isn't a buffet - it is all table service. The portions are small, but completely unlimited. The quality of the sushi is good - as you can imagine, the nigiri and sashimi are quite thin, but again, it is AYCE. It is loud in the restaurant, but the four at my table were able to have a good conversation.I would like to try the hibachi area, but that is for another day.The parking lot is on the darker side - please make sure all valuables are out of sight - they have several signs in the lobby regarding this.
