Tropicana Ice Cream

We visited this location on a Friday at 8 and had a short line in front of us which moved rather quickly. There's really so much here to choose from but we landed on ice cream and a fruit cup. When it was our turn we were greeted and asked if we had any questions. All the staff were friendly and courteous. We placed our order and received our treats within minutes and headed to check out. The seating area is kinda small but adequate for the size of location. We picked a table and enjoyed our ice cream. Personally I had the Rocky Road that was full of flavor. I highly recommend this flavor if you don't know what to choose. The fruit cup was loaded as well with several types of fruit. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend the location.

Was craving a fruit cup with chamoy for an afternoon snack and decided to try Tropicana.Although they had what I wanted, the small fruit cup came out to $7, chamoy did not have any taste and fruit tasted like soap. Would not recommend.

Stopped by here with my family for a sweet treat after dinner. The interior is very bright and clean with a decent sized seating area. They have lots of options to purchase. They have ice pops, ice cream, mangonadas (mango fruit, mango sorbet, and chili powder), various drinks, milk shakes, fruit cups and so much more. There was a long line when we got there so we we had to wait about 10-15 minutes before ordering. With only two people out front taking orders it slowed everything down. I decided to try the strawberries and cream. The inside of the cup was lined with cream and cut up pecans, lots of strawberries, a liquid cream, and then whipped cream on top. It was really good. It was sweet but not overly sweet. The liquid cream, whipped cream, and strawberries made for a perfect sweet treat after dinner.

The workers there literally gossip and talk when there is a line of people waiting and have the worst attitude. I won't be coming back here. Go to 210 ice cream instead

My favorite place for ice cream... my favorite flavor is the cookie monster ice cream-- no other ice cream parlors in San Antonio make this flavor (that I have found)

Havent went anywhere else for a Mangonado since finding this place. I think I'm going to get dressed now and pull up.

Disappointed by the rocky road ice cream. It had big chunks of walnuts which I personally did not enjoy, chocolate was thick and grainy. Fresas con crema were delicious! Staff was real friendly and quick

WATCH OUT!! The snacks are really good! Just the service gets no stars for me, it has happened that we go and ask for the mini pancakes and they will tell us there's no pancake mix, we went again and there was this girl, dark curly hair, when I asked for the mini pancakes she said "let me go check if we have more pancake mix" we saw her getting the mix from under the fruit bar, she was about to make them and she started to gossip with the coworkers then she proceeded to hide the mix and came back to tell us they didn't have any! Btw it was half way full the bottle for the mix! It's just sad, and then she knew we noticed it and went back to tell the coworkers and they were laughing, in our faces, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! When the guy was there one time they didn't had the mix and he went to the back to make more. He didn't have to, neither did i ask him to make more, he was just being polite, That's the type of experience I expect to have at this location. Just so you know we didn't care much for the pancakes we understand they can ran out of some stuff but the way they did it, hide it and laugh, not nice at all
