Went today for a pound of all meat Barbacoa and 2 large menudos . There combos for Barbacoa don't have flour tortillas so I got a bag of tortillas ( flour) some hot sauce and a portion of arroz con leche . Arriving home the menudo had a very awful taste and a lot of over heated honey comb meat dark black . The Barbacoa wasn't all meat . The cilantro was old and had wet mildew . All in all a horrible first experience! Hopefully they can fix these issues.

The barbacoa is quite expensive compared to neighboring competitions that provide bountiful of tortillas and veggies to go with it. It's good, but for the dollar, I would rather go down the street. Moose Out

A little bit early for another massage session next door at Aaraya, so I decided to get a little snack so I would not have an empty stomach for my appointment. A very nice man came out to help me make my decision. Got here late in the day and decided to go with the jalapeño cheese tamales since chicken wasn't an option. These are really good. Have a nice flavor and wasn't "skinny and greasy" like a lot of tamales have been lately. These are a generous portion of a flavorful Mesa/masa? I think I could have had them empty they were that good.

First time getting Barbacoa here, and I am totally impressed. Got the all meat and I got a lot of meat, not half grease in the weight. Flour tortillas fresh made and soo good reheated, which is a plus. Will be back to try the menudo for sure. Lady was supper nice.

I rolled in on a Saturday morning- 2 things were on my mind ... Menudo and not having to make breakfast for my fam. This place is a treat. You walk up smelling delicious. Like coming into the warm humid kitchen of someone I love, thinking- Jack pot. The menudo was hot, well spiced, a little salty, and a good amount of tender tripe. The only thing missing was the hominy (very very little existed in the dish)- which is a matter of taste really. The barbacoa was plentiful, *Moist, throughly shredded, and so very well seasoned. There was a little grease in the meat, but it was not swimming in it. So for 4 people this was treat... oh the pan de polvo (I grew up calling them vescochez) didn't make it to the counter... they were not home made, and from a package - but all my men enjoyed their sweet addition to the morning The staff is nice. This is purely a take out spot, but if you haven't visited- make sure to stop by

Very clean place, but they had the worst carnitas I ever tasted. Very plain and soggy. Tasted very bad. I couldn't eat it. All meat barbacoa is good, but nothing special and $20 for 1 lbs is ridiculous. It was my first and last time there. I don't recommend it.

I can't believed for years I've passed by this place countless times always saying I need to try it until finally I did and it did not disappoint. I was able to call in my order on Friday for a Sunday morning pick up. All meat Barbacoa was so good; delicious, tender and moist without all the extra fat and other peices of stuff thats usually mixed in with barbacoa. All meat was $13.99 a pound and regular was $9.99, comes with chopped onions and some salsa. Both salsa are good but are pretty spicy, the green one being way more so. They also have fresh made in house corn ($2.55)and flour($2.99) tortillas. Didn't taste the flour ones on this visit but tried the corn ones and really liked them, they weren't too dry or over cooked. They have a variety of limited items for sale like sodas, extra salsa, tacos, carnitas, rice, beans, menudo (on Sat.& Sun.) and tostadas. The staff was friendly and helpful . The place was busy but everyone kept their social distance. When I arrived, I was the 3rd person in there and as I left, the line was even longer. I'm so glad there's a place in this area for quality barbacoa pick up and I don't have to drive across town.

My go to Barbacoa spot. Never in my life have I liked Barbacoa before trying theirs. It's a must go to place if you're wanting to try authentic barbacoa for the first time. I can't recommend this place enough.
