Walked in on a slow day, greeted immediately with a smile. Nothing fancy about this roadside restaurant, but the folks who run it are incredibly polite people. Had a conversation for 45 minutes with the owner about the area and how he grew up in it. I got the meat plate, which was very good and priced right. I'd go back again.

Just came out from Colorado and my friend informed me to go here and experience some amazing Texas BBQ. It was amazing, both me and my wife really enjoyed the food. If your close to this pace, it's a must go.

Driving home from an event in Castroville, drove past TNT as the "closed" sign was being hung, but we just had to stop anyway. SOOOO glad we did; despite being ready to shut down for the day, these friendly folks were kind enough to serve us some of the best BBQ in the state! (And keep in mind, this was even with it being closing time, which says a lot!)I am somewhat a BBQ snob, have checked out many wonderful spots (Burnt Bean, City Market, Black's, Snow, Cooper's, Salt Lick, etc), and I try to judge at least the brisket category at the SA rodeo every year, so I ve had some good plates, but THIS spot is the truth!Got a 1/2 lb brisket and 1/2 lb ribs and deeply regret not getting more! The brisket was perfectly marbled, smoky, flavorful bark, thick smoke ring, just phenomenal. It needed no bbq sauce, but theirs is delicious nonetheless. Now those ribs!! Meaty, fall of the bone, tasty, tasty rub. Absolutely finger-licking!We will gladly make the 30 min drive from Helotes to TNT for our next bbq fix, we will be life-long, loyal customers!I was a little hesitant to write this review, because I don't want to have to bring a lawn chair for the line in the futue, but I still would, it's just that good!

My husband and I stopped here on a whim this evening, and I'm so glad we did! The brisket was perfectly flavorful and all the sides were delicious! The service was very fast and the husband and wife who run TNT are extremely nice. My only regret is getting the 1 meat plate, I should have gotten the two meat plate! Lol! I will next time because this is for sure our new bbq place! Yum!

Visiting from Los Angeles and we were told from all the locals that this was THE place for brisket. So glad we drove 30min outside from the city. Totally worth it. It's small and quaint, no fancy store front. But the quality of the meat was out of this world. I personally have never had better brisket. Even the pinto beans were outstanding! So delicious. Thank you.

Day after Thanksgiving trying to find an open BBQ restaurant west of San Antonio is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Luckily we found TNT after a drive north of Haby's. So glad they were open.Tammy greeted us with pen and notepad in hand. No indoors seating, just a table under a large carport of sorts. It was a little chilly so we ordered to go.The brisket was moist, tercer, and flavorful. The sausage was good too, and not overly greasy. The BBQ sauce is substantial and nicely spiced. We had the potato salad which is a mustard-mayo combo with a little sweetness to it. I really liked it, but some people don't like the sweet edge. Next time you are in Castroville stop by Haby's to pick up dessert and head over to TNT for your entrees and sides.
