Idk what this new restaurant is, but that's literally the worst carne guisada I've ever had. So gross. Fatty and gristley. Migas taco was good tho.

Weird smell. Slow service. Dirty dish piles on back table.Food is not good and overpriced.Won't be back!

I am soooo angry right now! They messed up on my order ( I was missing 3 bacon & egg tacos ) and somehow it's my fault? They keep me waiting on the phone for ten minutes! I am so furious! I call back and the same woman ( ANGIE ) answers and states that I can go and pick up my food! Smh.....this is the reason businesses fail! With half assed workers like this!

So disappointed today. I have been going here since i was a kid and the food and service were bad. The buffet food was cold. The menudo was not good and our server never checked on us. We had to keep looking for her. The lady at the pancake stationer was busy on her phone and didn't worry about helping us. She worked at the one on Babcock and now I know why that one didn't last. The service was horrible there as well. Hopefully they can improve things as it would be disappointing if they didn't.

I have tried this place a couple times before and was slightly disappointed at the service I received. I try my best to only post positive reviews and take care of any problems that may arise at the location itself... this visit I was pleasantly surprised. The service was prompt and courteous. The staff was a lot friendlier than I remember and the food was quick and hot. The tortillas were soft and fresh. Will definitely frequent more often. If you are on the far west side you should try their location on Potranco Rd or the one in castroville... both are excellent, as I live over there and frequent those locations more. They are smaller but worth the trip.

(LIVE ROACH)So we went in to this restaurant and it was a bit hot which was understandable because it was cold out, the music was blaring so we moved to a different table. ( no complaints to the waitress yet) we order our drinks and the tea was bad, so we returned it. They made fresh tea and that was good, at this point we've been there 30 minutes waiting for someone to take our order ( waitresses standing by the counter talking amongst each other) so I got up and told them we were ready to order but would like our order to go. After 25 minutes , They bring our order we pay. We get to the office open the first box and we find a LIVE ROACH! So I call to let them know I will be in to return the food and get my money. I go back and have two bags with the food, the mgr is walking out of the back( at this point I didn't know she was the mgr) , sees me and walks back into the back. I stand there waiting for someone the waitress that had waited on us comes by and said "your food not ok" I said " NO, it has a ROACH IN IT " to which she replies "Oh, Ok " and walks away. Still waiting for some one ( I want my 36 dollars back)Finally mgr comes by and saids "we just fumigated so they tend to come out, I am sorry. Then she couldn't find my ticket and the lady that had charged me came over to give it to her. She was in a bad mood... I got my money and I left NEVER TO RETURN!

Horrible. Walked in. Was told to have a seat anywhere. Take the first table as you walk in. Surely everyone sees 2 new patrons. Ten min go by. NOT ONE SERVER comes over to greet us. Way to go STINK-A-Tako Thanks for the WARM WELCOME! I'll gladly spend money elsewhere.

I used to live on the border of Mexico & I moved here 5 months ago. I missed the food so bad, and this has been the only place that cooks like home! Everything was perfect! And sooooo delicious! Definitely ordering Uber Eats from here again!

Horrendous experience, twice. The first, I chalked up to a bad day. The service was non-existent, and the food below average. I had to keep waiving down the waitress for the most basic of requests.Skip ahead two weeks. Due to convenience, I decided to return. More of the same, and worse. Two days after eating there, I had to go to the doctor, due to a viral infection, most likely caused by unclean glasses, utensils, etc. I had indeed sent a glass back to the kitchen, due to an obvious lack of washing. Thank God it wasn't something worse. You go to eat at a @#$* restaurant, and end up having to take antibiotics.About two weeks later, this restaurant turned up on the Express-News's "dirty restaurant" list, for the week. No surprise.Never again, obviously.EDIT Dec 2017: It's on the newspaper's site, AGAIN!!!!!! SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! I ended up with a $350 medical tab, because I merely ate here. Just NO!So...."Eddie" responds selectively.

I ordered "Gorditas with picadillo "they were terrible! The "picadillo " that came inside was tasteless and just ground meat. Picadillo can contain onion, tomato, garlic, potato, and sometimes carrot. The picadillo I ate had none of the above. The Gordita itself had a rubber texture, and tasted like it might have been boiled! The Gorditas (masa paddies) fell apart when I tried to hold them. I have eaten Gorditas at many restaurants in San Antonio : Tika Taco on Fredericksburg was the worse Gordita I have EVER had. Save your money and go elsewhere for Mexican food.
