OG asian food store. IYKYK. The store has an impressive selection of authentic Asian ingredients, spices, and snacks. The aisles are well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. What stood out the most was the friendly and knowledgeable staff, always ready to offer advice or suggestions. Whether you're cooking a specific Asian dish or just browsing for something new to try, Tim's is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality products and excellent service. I'll definitely be returning!

My family loves going to this little market. My daughter loves the buns they sell. It's one of the few spots in town to get oriental food that is very authentic. I also love the little corner. They have to buy houseware goods. The service is very good if you go to their butcher counter. It is just like a small town grocery store.

A great store carrying everything you need for any Asian dish. We are from California visiting family here in San Antonio. This store was a great find. Very clean, and organized. This market also sells fresh seafood. Staff were friendly and quite helpful.

TLDR: Excellent Pan-Asian market, if you can't find it here...yeah, you probably can't find it in San Antonio.I think that Tim's Market is part TARDIS, given that the interior's about double the size of the outside. Very good selection of dry goods (Asian sauces, canned items, spice mixes, dry noodles, etc.) and a pretty good selection of frozen items that include dim sum, various types of dumplings, and I'm pretty sure I saw lumpia as well. Of particular note is the BBQ area, where you can pick up roasted pork belly or duck after 11am. My understanding is that this is sold by the slice until it's all gone, which can happen by mid-afternoon. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and jonesing for an Asian fix, or you're cook looking for that one special brand of Fish Sauce...

There are so many reasons I love Tim's, but in a place like San Antonio where Asian Markets (#1) are already scarce, there are too many to list. But I'll certainly give it a try:* They're family owned and operated. The mom and dad are behind the counter and the rest of the family (kids, etc.) are all around putting things on shelves and keeping the place clean.* They offer Cantonese style roast meats, which are miles ahead of the butcher over at their competitors (#2). It's not Hong Kong good, but for SA, it's definitely doable.* They have all the essentials for folks: frozen dumplings / baos, instant noodles galore, plateware, asian snacks, and a solid selection of seafood, produce, and meats. Some markets tend to lean heavier into the Chinese side of products, but I've found a decent array of Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese, and Japanese stuff as well.* The place is a lot bigger than it looks. Ceilings might be low but there are aisles for days, and lots of different products to choose from. The latter is a big deal since imported goods are never a guarantee in stores.* Prices are affordable but like all foreign grocers, it can get spendy quick. Some of their oils and relatively mainstream products (Chinese sausage for example is like $7-9 a pack. Or $6 sesame oil?) are more than say a 99 Ranch in any other city, but when there are only so many options combined with the pandemic, it's more common than ever.* They have a bathroom. A clean one. I'll happily take it._____________(#1) Let alone anything Asian ... (#2) Asia Super Market in Windcrest: https://www.yelp.com/biz/asia-super-market-windcrest

I've been living in San Antonio for over 10 years and never knew this place existed. Very impressed with the vast selection of foods available. I probably only know. of five percent of what they carry, so that tells you how good it is.It's very clean, prices are affordable and the roast pork and barbecue pork they make daily is excellent.Definitely will return.
