Came across this place On a whim and I am glad I did their breakfast tacos are really good I had their barbacoa and the meat is just great no fat which is how I like it. They open up early which is great for those early risers.i will definitely come back

Not that hard! Only wanted to-go cups for drink order. Our entire order was to go maybe skimping on details, maybe skimping on portion...either way, customer loses! We consistently eat at Tia's on Bandera and Potranco, prefer the full dine-in experience. People serve you, they provide chips and salsa, and plates are worth the money! At this location the people are only worried about themselves. Also, food was bland and more onion, chile, and tomatoes than egg and machacado. When person who took out order apologized for to-go foam, no attempt at any recovery! Service is basic. Save yourself a trip!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE !!! I'm giving a one star because today was absolutely ridiculous. Usually the wait for my food is long but holy crap never this long of a wait for food. There's no reason I should wait 30 MINUTES IN HOUSE (the first ones inside at that) for 1 bean a cheese taco w/ bacon, 1 chorizo and egg, and 3 bean and eggs. 5 total tacos. For to go. While we're standing there waiting, multiple other people come in to dine in and immediately get their food.The front cashier lady said she had been asking her cook for the food and they wouldn't serve it. Idk who runs this place but they need to get their business together. Ontop of that there was a weird smell right when you walked into the building.

I ordered the TORTA - Asada a le mexicana. It looked great until I took the top bun off to season it. I discovered less than two tablespoons of meat mixed with chopped lettuce. Needless to say, I was flabbergasted! I would have told our server immediately, but he was busy mopping the floor instead of taking care of his customers. When I got the bill, I was expecting an adjustment, but that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, I won't ever be ordering Tortas again, and if I return I'll stick with tacos.Very DISAPPOINTING!

I would refrain from coming to eat at this place. I had ordered the cheese enchiladas and it comes with rice and beans, but what they don't mention is bugs. I was about to finish my enchiladas but I had to spit it out because there was a nasty flavor and weird texture. I look at it and it's a fly, so I begin to inspect my food some more and I find another bug inside of it. I take it to the lady up at front to ask for a refund since I had lost my appetite and she said due to the fact that I had eaten the food I could not get a refund. I would stay away from this place as much as possible!

We have only gone her for breakfast tacos. Last visit we had potato and egg taco and a migas taco. Both were great served warm and promptly. My partner can never finish hers and I end up finishing it so I get the taste of both. They provide salsa, I prefer the green and my partner prefers the red so it all works out well. It is usually not crowded and many times only a few diners but they seem to do a lot of takeout and the service is prompt for orders prepared as requested and not made ahead. The tortillas are really good and we have bought tortillas to take home in the past. This is a basic taqueria plain but functional. It actually is a converted Taco Cabana near the university.
