Food: DELICIOUS! MOUTH WATERING, FRESH! none of that premade and kept warm - waiting for someone to order bs.Service: 10 out of 10 Michelin Star Level everyone gives us space to enjoy our food/drinks but if you need something they know before you even ask and always happy to serveAmbiance is great! I love coming over for a bite to decompress after work or for lunch during the week or themed events.Thank goodness I don't have to go all the way downtown for this vibe and good food/drinks.Usually always order lemon pepper wings that are delicious and filling but switched it up for this one time yummmm (the burgers are also FIRE)

Came by on the weekend for a family of 5 and we sat outdoors. The frozen mango margarita was very good. Our teenage boys ordered the pepperoni pizza but to them it was ok, nothing they would come back and crave. We ordered lemon pepper & honey BBQ wings, personally my favorite meal. I was not impressed with the carnitas grilled cheese. I get a small business and support local but it was an expensive meal we would normally expect to pay at a sit down restaurant.Will come back for drinks!

Walked in and loved the new layout of the place! We had been to the last 2 businesses, and The Yard had made it very inviting!We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted right away. The bartender took our drink orders and had them to us within 2 minutes! We then ordered some chips & queso with Chorizo, and I swear as soon as he entered the order the food was delivered! Oh, the chips & queso with Chorizo was awesome! Cheesy, meaty, and greasy just my style!We ordered our entrees and again within a few minutes we had our food hot, fresh and tasty! My wife ordered the Honey chili wings, and they were a bit sweet for her as she was hoping for more chili than honey, but the wings were hot crispy and delicious!! I ordered the cheeseburger with bacon, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! perfectly cooked great toppings and condiments and well seasoned patties!I then gave into the campfire Old Fashioned (I don't like sweet Old Fashioned drinks) but this was was great it was very strong and has nice flavors, but I did not eat the marshmallow!!All in all great new spot, I hope they last here it been tough for others but we'll definitely be back to tryout the other food and drinks!

Good for a little local bar. Tried the mule and old fashioned with marshmallow. The plastic cups get me but I understand it's an outdoor setting and no one wants to mess with glass. Stick to canned drinks here. Better bang for your buck. Tried the chicken wings with the sweet chili bbq sauce. Hubby got the carnitas grilled cheese and the kids split a grilled cheese. Loved the outdoor set up. The kids played in the sandbox while us adults enjoyed some beverages. They got a good playlist and happy hour from 3-6pm everyday. Give it a shot!

Great dog friendly patio! My pup loved the pup meal!!! $5 for a pup cup and an unseasoned beef patty. Brunch on the weekends was perfect. Loved the chicken and waffles. Also recommend coming for the live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Also has a play area on the patio for kids.

Friendly and fast service. Some issues with card machine double charging. Drinks were delicious and reasonably priced.

Just had burger from The Yard delivered. Cheese burger was good loaded fries were just ok. I'll be sure to try something else from there next time.

We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday around 6 PM, finding it moderately busy. Parking was available in front of the building and also off to the left toward the back of the property. The restaurant featured both indoor seating and an outdoor area, perfect for families with children and dog-friendly.Opting for the outdoor seating due to our dogs, we approached the window to order food, where the menu of available drinks was conveniently displayed. Additionally, menus were available, but we also checked their website for more options.Starting with drinks, I chose the campfire old fashioned, infused with bourbon, toasted marshmallow syrup, and a dash of chocolate bitters, while my wife opted for the sparkling mule, containing vodka, ginger beer, lime, strawberry, and a splash of champagne. The old fashion was pleasantly strong with a hint of sweetness reminiscent of s'mores, while the sparkling mule had well-balanced flavors that complemented each other.Moving on to food, we ordered chips and queso with chorizo, wings in buffalo sauce, a cheeseburger, and a bacon blue cheeseburger. The addition of chorizo elevated the queso, although we wished for fresher tortilla chips. The wings were lightly breaded and perfectly sauced with a subtle garlic flavor.The double meat patties in both burgers provided a backyard barbecue grilled flavor. My wife enjoyed her cheeseburger with fresh toppings while I savored the caramelized onions and prominent blue cheese crumbles in my bacon blue cheeseburger. Both burgers came with fries and ketchup on the side.Overall, the restaurant had a great vibe, providing a chill atmosphere suitable for families and pets. Despite the moderate crowd, we felt comfortable and welcomed by the friendly staff and patrons. We look forward to returning to try more of their offerings at this neighborhood gem near Talley Rd and 1604.

So, your around potranco and you've heard about a place called the.... Wait is it yard or back yard? Looking for that divey bar that allot of locals talk about? Where everyone knows each other in a weird Cheers TV show atmosphere?Soooooo this isn't that dive bar. You're thinking of Serna's Backyard. But that's okay, we're all a bit confused with the similar names.This is a bit classier of a dive ish bar, but be warned. Why is an old fashion cheaper the a shot of whiskey? Seriously $12 for a shot..... ouch in my wallet pocket. And they do charge for everything.... Almost the air too, which fun fact the backyard is also where the good old septic tank is, and you will smell it every once in a while. And not to get too much in the negative, since it's still a new place fleshing themselves out a bit.Dog friendly, they also have a sandbox for your kiddos.... Not for 35 yo man child's to build an epic sand castle... I mean you can but the other patrons will look at you with that half concerned smile.....Wish I tried the grub, I've been told the flat bread during lunch is spot on with a cupola the old groggy munch munch Cheerio. It will take some time but I feel that they will find a way to make it a decent neighborhood place, because they are right on the edge of a neighborhood..... yep.... Yep........ yeppers.......end transmission!

Really love the Yard but not brunch. Would be super happy if I could order a burger anytime.
