The Ticket Sports Bar & Grill

Cool neighborhood bar. It has a large outdoor patio, 2 pool tables , a jukebox, and plenty of seating. I was able to quickly order my drinks at the bar. Their drink specials were basically for beers. Also they weren't able to make Moscow mules or mojitos since they lacked ingredients. Their menu is pretty varied but they were out of a few things, no salad or brisket. We were a group of 12 and were accommodated nicely. No one comes to you to get a drink order, you must go to the bar.

This is a very ROWDY but FUN neighborhood sports bar when there's a game on. It's full of fans rooting for our Texas teams and those that grew up here yet root for the Giants, the Patriots, or the Eagles. And many of those rooting for the non Texas teams were born and raised here. I've never understood that. One of life's many mysteries I guess. Oh well, the friendly (yet rowdy) rivalries add to the fun and excitement of this place. There's LOTS of yelling back and forth across the bar during a game, but it's all good fun.It's definitely a fun place to watch a game if you can deal with the rowdy crowds. They're friendly but rowdy - no stranger danger found here though.They have the typical bar eats, cheap draft beer, and a full bar for mixed drinks.I'd give them five stars, but there always seems to be that little chick with a high pitched, nerve rattling, nails on a chalkboard type of voice when I'm there. Her cheers for the Cowboys just seem to stand out above everyone else's conversations and cheering. OK, although I'm not kidding about that chick (she always seems to be there) that's not why I deducted a star.They lose half a star because you have to walk through the enclosed smoker's patio before walking in the front door, and another half of a star because the bartenders turn a blind eye to all of those people who are vaping inside the bar.

Friendly neighborhood bar feel with a modern touch. Waitress/bartender was very nice and knew all the regulars names. My burger was very good and the quesadilla was huge. Good food at a good price, I'd return. Bring cash or you'll be charged a slight surcharge.

It's a bit seedy. Low class place you young guys in t-shirts that don't mind getting piston their sneakers while using the restroom. Cheap drinks and cheap girls are on the menu. Check the kitchen before ordering. Enter at your own risk.

Placed order through GrubHub it was almost immediately canceled been trying to call the ticket and nobody answers they have great food service sucks I mean it is absolutely the worst I don't know how substandard you can get but the food is good and management reviews don't really care because they want to wing it also in the sip it on Pat Booker so yeah these guys went to the wrong damn college to do business but the service sucks it is absolutely the worst unfortunately by the grace of God they are surviving again only thing good about wing it the food and drink is good being a so if you don't care about the worst service in the world I have been Afghanistan Iraq Beirut and the other shit hole countries you could think of I've been there overseas government there is service still sucks at the ticket sports bar in universal city Texas

This visit consisted of good music, great food, and good service. There is plenty of space inside and outside of the bar. The bar runs almost the length of the building giving plenty of bar room. Along one wall there are several dart machines making it perfect if that's your thing. The pool tables seemed to be maintained and had space between them to play. I ordered the patty melt and I was surprised at how much food and how good it was. I wasn't able to finish it all. The service was great. I noticed others complained about service when you were not a regular. Well this was my first time and I had no issues. The only reason for four stars is because of the Moscow mule. They didn't have copper mugs and had to put it in a small glass. They took the time to explain that they did not have them because people would steal them and so I understand. Still a great place to start the night of bar hopping or to spend playing darts with friends.

Why 4 stars? 2 words - TICKET TENDERS! That's how good they are. This was my second time to come this bar. The first time was literally just to meet up for a quick beer before heading out to where our destination was. This time, it was a Monday in the middle of the day to enjoy a late lunch and some time with my boyfriend since we both got the day off from work. We brought the dogs with us and loved that they are a dog friendly outside patio area kind of place. We ordered our food and drinks at the bar (which you need to know if you want food, there's not a wait staff to come take an order, you need to go up to the bar to do that and they clearly state that on the menu but you may not see that) I ordered the Ticket Tenders because they use a buttermilk batter for their chicken and I wanted to see how good it was. Oh my geeerrrrdddd Becky! Freaking fantastic. I am a major chicken tender kinda gal and these rocked my world. They were the kind of tenders that you say, "You know what I am craving right now? Ticket Tenders." because they are that good that you keep them on your specific crave list. My boyfriend had the egg burger and he said it was delicious.

This is my first time here since I was in the area. First and foremost the music is LIT. to me, music at a bar is super important. Here, that's not an issue. They have cool lights , pool tables, darts and an outside area (covered) to smoke; big plus to me. However, the miller is R E A L L Y flat. Other than that, if I'm in the area, I will be coming back. PS bartenders are pretty cool.

NEVER GOING BACK, Rude staff. Bingo is a ridiculous game to try and play at a bar. Trying to celebrate my BFF's bday but cut it short since bingo seemed more important. Staff refused to use microphone to call out numbers over loud music and our table was apparently in too much of a good mood. We were asked to take our party outside, NO THANKS we're non-smokers. Perhaps bingo should be played outside where it's quiet. Disappointed we all spend $$$ there and we were not done, the night was young. I'm sure they made more $$ on us than what the bingo cards cost. We'll be sure to take our business somewhere else. Food is only ok but not worth the crappy rude staff. Last time coming to this place .

Was enjoying this place till manager Karen was extremely rude to a patron of their business! Plenty of bars in Central Texas maybe not smart to run off paying customers. Place is okay to average but if you don't buy their average food they don't want any of your business. When this recession really comes down and everyone is smartly going to the corner liquor store for a bottle of Tito's for what two drinks cost here maybe you'll value your customers more. Would've certainly bought more drinks but now I'll just hit up Total Wine on my way home! Cheers.Bartenders are great it's management that should think how they snap at people!
