I LOVE THE SHACK. The Dorinachos with beef is just 10/10! Super delicious and loaded with that yummy cheesy beef!The service was great! I didn't know that you could add beef to the Dorinachos but the lady taking our order made a great suggestion and she was very nice!The chili cheese dog is also loaded and yummy! We get it everytime and it never disappoints! They have lots of indoor seating and its super casual. They have a great self service area. I also want to mention that their shakes are amazing! They are the best shakes I ever had - better than any other fast food chain.

I love this place. Burgers are high quality, Funnel Cake (need i say more) and the chili dogs are massive. I have been a few times and even brought the Fam once. They were impressed with the quality. My cousin, who complains about everything, complained that the burger was too big. WHAT?!? We all looked at him crazy. This place is tucked away in a strip mall but has indoor and outdoor seating which is nice.

First visit and it was pretty good. Good selection of unique burgers and hot dogs. I had the macho burger and my wife had the backyard burger. Very tasty. The portions were a good size for 13.00. The service was not great. A bunch of 20 year olds, very casual. We waited 35 minutes for our order. I had to get up and ask for our food. No apology for the wait or even an acknowledgement. Just, here you go. The place was a little dirty as well. Someone came out to get the trays from the trash cans but the floors were pretty grimy. The location isn't great. The only reason I knew about this place was because of the posts related to the Perrin Beitel location. Unless you're looking for this place, it's not visible from 410. It was pretty steady while we were there so word of mouth seems to be working.

Food: bomb.com. Good flavor, juicy burgers, not dry at all. My son got a hot dog, and hubby got a chili cheese dog. No complaints. Milkshakes are delicious and a nice size, kids couldn't finish it. Service: quick and friendly. Ordered and sat down to wait for them to call our name. Ambiance: laid back, casual. Enough tables for you to dine in if you wanted.

Fast service, we got our food quick. Was a lot of people there was hard to find seating but they do have an outdoor area to sit also. I got the Mexican burger and my brother got the mushroom and Swiss burger both really great they offer corn in a cup or cucumber cup as sides instead of fries if h want something different, they also have a lot of good looking sweets to choose from we were so full we didn't have room to try it but we will be back again.

While some items stand out more than others, the unique twists on familiar favorites make it worth a visit.The service was fast and easy and the environment was comfy.

I always enjoy the burgers at the Shake but like many I have a couple of things I get all the time. Everything I've had is really good and I need to branch out from my normal orders. Tonight I did manage to order something new for me. I got the Mexican Burger 1/2 Lb with pica de gallo, bacon, jalapeño, Swiss cheese, and the works. You select what you want on your burger from a list and it includes a side. There are plenty of sides to pick from. I had Fries, No Jalapenos, No Ketchup,No Mustard, with lettuce, mayonnaise .Cut In Half and a pink center medium to rare burger. It was just as I requested. Now these are juicy burgers so have your napkins ready.I just love what they season the fries with. Sorry for the not as good photos but I ate my fries quickly and my burger kept sliding off the bun.So come and try the food...they have a large variety of food types, shakes, desserts etc.

The Shack is a classic San Antonio burger joint that's been serving up delicious, old-fashioned burgers, hot dogs, and funnel cakes for years. Their no-frills, casual atmosphere and affordable prices make it a local favorite.

It is worth the money! It is pricey but I got a chili dog and it was huge alone with tater tots and of course a funnel cake! Wow amazing
