Absolutely horrible. Yes, we sat outside, so flies and bugs can happen, but the one in my wife's coffee was so discolored you could tell it had been steeping in the brew for someTime. The head waitress came over with an attitude and defensive. She took the coffee off the bill, but once we saw the bloated carcass of the fly, we were not about to eat anything else coming out of that kitchen. Look, they used to be great, but they eliminated their breakfast menu (they were always busy), and they clearly have low standards. Add in the chippy, derisive attitude of the head waitress, and our decision to never return is easy.We walked down to Casa Rio and had the meal we hoped for.

Came here on a whim because the surrounding restaurants were already closed and I was pleasantly surprised. From first appearances, it seems like this might just be bar food and not have great quality but it was actually pretty darn good! It's worth the stop to eat here if you're looking for some good basic foods We were on the Riverwalk and it was about 10pm and all the surrounding restaurants were closing. We thought we would try this place. Walking in, it seemed that maybe it wasn't a great choice but we thought we tried anyways. The interior of the restaurants/bar seem like it hadn't been updated since probably the late '80s and I was starting to think it was just going to be bar food. Bar food meaning greasy fried whatever goes in your gut when you're having drinks. We were greeted by staff and looking over the menu they actually had your basic variety of foods other than just deep fried. They had hamburgers and Mexican food and other things as well. I ended up ordering a burger which was really good and not too greasy. All the vegetables were fresh and also the fries were really good! Others ordered the enchiladas which actually was of really good quality without being too salty. Overall, two thumbs up and we really enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the food and the service! The interior decorating could use some updating as you can even still see a area where a DJ played from a wall of cds. But overall, the quality of the food and the service was great and I would eat here again.

This meal was presented well on a plate with cute little stars :)The burger wasn't too messy to eat either.QUALITY & TASTE- Everyone has their own opinion of preferences of taste. This meal was very tasty. I made sure to get extra bbq sauce as it does come on the side. The fries were really good with ranch.SERVICE & HOSPITALITY- One aspect of a great experience at an establishment is the service of the staff. At this location, our waiter was very friendly and we were seated right away.VARIETY OF OPTIONS- Some establishments offer very diverse menu. At this establishment, I liked how they had a bit of everything. They had tacos, burgers, bbq, etc.BANG FOR YOUR BUCK? Is this too expensive for the quality of food? I think it was priced well. It was about $30 for meal and drinks.EXTRA NOTES: eat outside on the river walk or cool inside with AC

Ranch wrappers and Chicken Fajitas were amazing. Everyone in our party loved the food. The service was a little slow even with the inside being fairly empty, that's probably not a good sign based on how many people were at Riverwalk. The selection of beers on tap is sad and our waiter said they were having issues with the taps so we couldn't try anything. Right after that I saw the bartender pouring beer for others in the restaurant. Not really sure why we were told the taps were an issue but oh well. The inside is so dark you can barely read the limited menu that they have. Overall good experience and would recommend the food.

I wish I could say something nice about this place. We waited for about 20 minutes before the server came by. We were just about to get up and leave and she came over. Dang! We should have been quicker! Some of the worst service I have ever had commenced. She did not ask for a drink order so I had their tap water. Yuck. . I ordered the brisket sandwich. Not edible! I picked it apart and ate some bun. Mac and cheese was horrid. It looked like a mass of jelly. Tasted like a Hungry Man meal. I am so sad to pay for this. The server never came back to check on us. I would stay as far away from this place asPossible. Don't look back. Run!!

I'm a San Antonio regular visitor. I've eaten all over this town. This place should not be in business. The service is not great and the food is downright unacceptable for human consumption. just don't go here so they can close down and hopefully a better place can go in to this location. There are many good places to eat on the riverwalk, but this is definitely not one of them.

If you're looking for good food and excellent service, THIS PLACE IS NOT IT! I ordered a medium steak, and that thing came out nearly charred. The ribs were alright, but they had a slightly burnt taste. We tried getting a waiter's attention a few times, but good luck if you need anything. Do yourself a favor and walk a few doors down to one of the many another place; you'll be glad you did!

Although is a riverwalk restaurant, it definitely hits all the marks. We sat down mid afternoon on the weekend after the 4th of July. The place was busy but not hurried. The staff appeared efficient and guests were getting their orders in quick order. Victor T. was a super special server! He is super nice, and very, very, very efficient. The food suggestions were perfect for our party of four. The food came out lighting fast and hot. The chicken sandwich was excellent with the housemaid bbq sauce. The fires were crispy and hot. The supreme nachos were oh sooooooo good (highly recommended). Nothing about our experience was bad. From the service, atmosphere, the food and staff attitude was superlative! Oh, and the brownie was deeeelicious! Definitely Ninja worthy! Yelp on my peeps, Yelp on!

This place is one of the many river walk restaurants along the river walk. Great view of the water and our table was right by the railing. People walking by in a somewhat narrow walkway. I hadn't been to the riverwalk or San Antonio in a few years and that was for a photoshoot, so this was straight up being a tourist type night as a change. I found myself downtown after discovering my concert ticket was fraudulent and wanted to at least enjoy something while in town. Since I was 10 minutes away to the Riverwalk from ATT Center, I was hungry and wanting a beer or drink or two. After walking a bit on the waterfront, this place had some other food besides Tex-Mex and didn't require a huge wait, price or needing to be the hotel guest. So I stopped and quickly sat down. The server came right away and greeted me. Asked what beverage id like and brought at water and a menu. I ordered a Dos Equis beer and I got the fried shrimp and fries. Fish and chips type thing. Nothing fancy or high priced and was decent, you'll have to just take my word it was tasty since my picture of the food didn't take. Not sure why they didn't turn out but both hit the spot and I was happy with everything I ordered. Service was quick and enjoyable and fine for a solo diner like myself.

Brisket was wayyyy over cooked. Tasted like leather. Chicken was cold and fries were mooshy and cold. I highly recommend staying away from this place. Nothing about the management even cared.
