I've had the chicken and steak bowls and they both blew me away. They're packed with flavor and the service is also quick.

Food was delicious my favorite was the chicken bowl. The service amazing, this was our first time and she was very patient with us. The food truck is located in The Dog Ice house, great vibe, music and drinks.

One of the best gyros I've had in awhile! The food is great and their garlic sauce is ON POINT! Great spot, the dog park is a cool, even if you don't have a dog. I will come back!

This was my first time eating at " The Pita Chick", my question is, why did I wait so long !! The Rita Check is ran by a sister brother team . Rhena ( The Pita Chick ) came out and greeted us . She is super sweet she gave us complimentary, homemade pita chips, and hummus everything , was just amazing . My husband ordered one chicken Shawarma, a steak Shawarma pita wrap . I ordered the steak Shawarma combo, which comes with hummus, and tabbouleh salad . You can choose your 2 sides , those are the 2 that I chose . What a hidden little gem . I recommend going out & trying out this amazing food truck . WOW !!!

I had seen this food truck on social media and by the looks of the pictures it warranted a trip downtown to test it out. While the website and Instagram indicate it opened at 12 noon, it didn't actually open until 12:30 on the day we visited, not sure if it was just an off day or it's usually late opening. Not a big deal but the day we went it was a 100 degree day so waiting an extra 30 min in the hot sun was killer. Now, the food- it was excellent. We sampled the steak loaded hummus and the chicken pita. Full of flavor and portion size was good. They don't post prices on their website or social media so you don't really know until you go. It's more than other local Mediterranean restaurants but it's worth it as this isn't your average Mediterranean food: It's unique and delicious. We will definitely be back for more!

The Pita ChickLured in by social media. Stayed for the restaurant quality fast food. Fresh ingredients. Shareable portions. The consensus was that we loved the sliced almonds for texture and taste. Friendly service with a sweet smile. I loved how she genuinely seemed to love seeing our empty plates.The falafel was palatable, but I loved the savory shawarma (chicken and beef),hummus, and tabbouleh. And oh my gravy, those well-seasoned fries and that perfectly cooked basmati rice were on point. At El Camino SA food truck park, look for La Elotera. You MUST also get some refreshing hibiscus lemonade, which makes for a delicious and refreshing pairing with the Mediterranean food from The Pita Chick. Cards are accepted at all the trucks. Warning:Downtown parking and construction are such a hassle, but it's worth the trip. Reasonably priced parking and ample space at Avenue B and 9th via QR code. The heat is manageable if you can find a shaded spot. They don't serve pita bread or chips automatically. And they only serve one pepper with a combo plate, which is nice and crunchy and spicy, making for that quintessential perfect bite. Note to self: Ask for a couple more next time.

Food was amazingly fresh and delicious! The owner was very friendly and took our order with a smile even though we were there 20 minutes before close. Made my pregnant wife's night after she was craving Mediterranean! Will be back again!

So good! All of it. I usually only get gyro meat at most places but her chicken is soooo good! So I get both. The garlic sauce is amazing!
