The Pastry Corner

There is a serious shortage of great baked goods in this area of San Antonio, but The Pastry Corner definitely helps make up for that! I found this place when I googled "scones near me" because I haven't had a good scone since moving here from DFW almost 2 years ago! Google led me to the Pastry Corner, which is conveniently located only about 15 minutes from my work.I drove over on a chilly early afternoon to pick up a scone, but as soon as I walked in and saw the pastry case, I knew I was in trouble! There were so many delectable items to choose from, that I ended up buying: 2 savory pastries/danishes, 1 blueberry scone, 1 hazelnut croissant, 1 chocolate croissant, 1 jam-filled cruffin, a ham and cheese croissant, and 1 vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. We ate our way through the pastries over the next few days, and were not disappointed in the quality. The pastries were all flaky and light, perfectly laminated dough! The scone was one of the best I've had, and I shared it with some coworkers who were also suitably impressed. The only items that could use a little improvement were the ham and cheese croissant and the cupcake. The ham was in a thick slab, which made it difficult to eat and didn't provide a great texture for the interior of the croissant. Either thin sliced ham piled up inside or diced ham would be better, I think. The cupcake was good, and the frosting was light and delicious, not too sweet, but the cake itself was a little dry and crumbly and didn't have a ton of flavor. I still enjoyed it, mind you, but it wasn't perfection (not many things are in life, right?).I will definitely be back at least once a month to buy a passel of pastries! I am also looking forward to trying their coffee and tea drinks, which smelled heavenly! The location itself is small and quaint, with a small side parking lot that looks to be consistently full. There is additional parking across the street though, so no worries. Sorry for the lack of pictures, I was so in awe of the baked goods I forgot to take any while I was there, lol. Next time!

What can you even say about this place I go there every weekend. The baked good are absolutely delicious!I have had an awful time finding bagels in this area as well and theirs are the best I've had in TX period! The cruffins, cookies, cakes, pastries, you name it we've tried it.....all amazing! The staff is so sweet and extremely helpful. If you're in that area definitely support this business, I know I will!

I can't say enough good things about The Pastry Corner. The staff is always attentive and friendly, making each visit a true delight. Their pastries are absolute perfection--the croissants are light, flaky on the outside, and incredibly soft inside. The freshness and flavor of everything, from the coffee to the pastries, is unmatched. It's a bit on the pricier side, but every bite is absolutely worth it. I find myself craving this place at least once a week--definitely a must-try for any pastry lover!

Woohoo we bought a box full of different pastries to try at this small town bakery and it did not disappoint. Friendly friendly staff The spinach quiche croissant was my favorite and the mister loved his apple delight Can't wait to try the focaccia breads WARNING - when you gaze into the pastry displace case you will come home with more than you planned. It's simply irresistible.

We love love love pastry Conner!! Such a nice hidden gem. We came here a couple of times and each time it gets better and better. I love the cozy vibes inside it's a house converted into a coffee shop. The girls are so nice in the front and even make my coffee quick! Great food and fast service what else do you want!

I hesitated writing this review because there is already a line out the door at opening time, but I definitely want to give this place the praise that it deserves. Lol what I mean is i dont want the lines to get longer. I have tried just about everything, and nothing has yet to disappoint. From their cinnamon rolls, cookies, and pop tarts to their cheesecakes, boston creme cruffins, and ham & cheese croissants , you will taste a little bit of heaven. I am glad The Pastry Corner set up shop in Cibolo and strongly recommend you add this to your list of must haves.

This is a cute and cozy little spot. It sits off the main road behind other small businesses so it could be a little hard to find without GPS.The workers were sweet young girls who greeted us immediately. I had the cruffin and cheesecake, both were great. The cheesecake was more cheesecake than banana pudding, but still good (and bigger than I expected). The only (somewhat minor) negative is that another customer came in with a dog. I don't necessarily enjoy eating around animals but thankfully they didn't stay to eat inside. Other than that the place was nice and clean and I recommend checking it out!

First time here after reading reviews.Great little artisan bakery with baked good.Decided to try cinnamon rolls. I should have asked to warm it up would have been better. Just had brewed coffee... (drip coffee)More of a bakery than coffee shop.Can't wait to try the other goodies.

Thee absolute best cinnamon roll I have EVER had! Only rival would have been the one from Lulu's Bakery. They are consistently good! The cookies are 2nd to none as well. If you're from the Cibolo/Schertz area and remember how amazing Mama J's Cookies was, then you should rejoice because Pastry Corner has AMAZING cookies. The Chocolate chip cookies are perfect, the Snickerdoodle cookies are perfect. They even have a brookie- which is a brownie, cookie. They have cheesecakes, hand made pop tarts and all kinds of other stuff!! Plus they have coffee!!!! Good coffee too. Love it!!!!!!

Homemade baked good along with some coffee/latte you can't go wrong.Small seating area inside with great service. They will slice the bread for you if you want. Everything looks delicious and taste delightful.
