Do not miss out on their Beef Wellington when it's offered! It is amazing! I got ours to go and they provided reheating instructions and it was perfect for our dinner. I also got what I thought was a chicken/leek pie but turned out to be a beef/kidney pie. It was so good too. And now I'll go back for the chicken/leek soon! The ambience, the staff and the food are all top notch!

We had an enjoyable time, we had a group of 6 and hald did the tea and the others ordered off the menu.The tea was impressive, the party enjoyed it all, but the desserts were the favorite.This is worth a trip if you are craving british foods.

We were looking for a restaurant for lunch today and I thought of @theoldenglishteashoppe. We had only visited once before when they newly opened and now they will be celebrating their first anniversary this week.Evan was our server who took our orders and took good care of us. Dad had Lemonade, and Hubby and I both had Iced Coffee. Their version of Iced Coffee had whole milk and condensed milk mixed in, which was very good. Fridays and Saturdays they serve their famous Fish and Chips with mushy peas. Dad and I shared an order. The fish was flaky and the homemade tartar sauce paired well with the fish. I had to order an extra tartar sauce! Hubby had 2 pies: Meat and Potato and Chicken and Mushroom. He preferred the Chicken and Mushroom one. They had free red white and blue cake for our sweet ending. I bought some British chocolates to try later: Flake and Crunchie. One of the servers told me that in UK, Flake would typically be eaten with soft-serve ice cream. All around us folks had reservations to have high tea. Fridays through Sundays, it is $45 per person. It looked like a lot of food for each of the group. Wednesdays and Thursdays are Lite Tea for $29.95 per person. This would be the next thing to check out. It is only by reservation by calling 210-310-3308.

Fantastic breakfast always!we are regulars because the food and service are first rate. Try the fish and chips on Friday-best in town. They offer English Tea vis reservations. A must try.

Authentic English tea shop in Stone Oak. Can pop in for some bangers and mash or an English roast on a Sunday afternoon, or book ahead for a full English tea with tea sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, and assorted pastries. My Coronation Chicken sandwich was excellent as an entree, followed with a delightful strawberry scone and cup of black tea. Ambiance was casual, service was very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth the stop!

If you are trying to find a delicious tea/brunch spot then look no further. Extensive list of delicious teas, outstanding scones, and a phenomenal English Breakfast. 10/10!

Got to try this new gem. I have tried the fish and chips, a potato and meat pie, and their great teas. Everything is fresh and made to order by very talented chefs. You will wait for your food but the wait is very worth it. The shoppe itself is very charming and has fun decor and also sells some really great British chips that were out of this world. Were I to offer any critique at all, it would be that the fries (chips) with the fish and chips didn't have much flavor. That aside, what are you waiting for?

How is this not the most popular restaurant in town?! Food, service, ambiance all stellar, best scones stateside! I called ahead for an Afternoon Tea set up for myself and my 6yo daughter, and it was absolutely perfect, and so thoughtfully attended to. She and I had the best time! Can't wait to return!

My group, TAPS, has come the first Saturday at ten, for a full year. We used to go to a library. This is WAY nicer. It's clean and welcome and the menu is amazing. The servers are nice and they really empathize with our journeys. We had all lost hub or kids in military or after military service. I'm not sure how long she plans to stay but it's convenient for all of us , because of its central location and the ample parking.
