The Lighthouse Seafood

The beautiful blue building with the lighthouse painted on the side makes it easy to find. We visited for dinner on a Friday night. I ordered the #1 special fish & shrimp & my spouse had #2 fish and fries. Both were served hot & fresh. The shrimp was tender & tasty, the fish had a light, crisp breading. The coleslaw was creamy. Great prices & a good variety of seafood. Everything was very clean & the wall murals are beautiful.

Well. We have a contender. Best seafood in San Antonio. I've been waiting for something like this to open. A local small fish place that takes pride in every single thing they make. Sides, are homemade. Carrot Salad and Coleslaw are standouts. Price point is perfect. The shrimp is perfection. Tarter and cocktail sauce. Great. Chowder gumbo and apps are delicious. Daily specials!!!!!Coconut shrimp. Cerviche. Absolutely great. Worth the drive. Welcome to greatness!!!

The Mexican shrimp cóctel is excellent. The pineapple cheesecake is also outstanding. The owners are very friendly and accommodating as well. Great neighborhood restaurant.

Order at the counter. They call your name when your order is ready. Good prices. Fish is good. French fries are good. You can order what type of bread you want.

First time visiting this establishment. Food was hot and fresh. Flavor was on point!!! Will most definitely be returning customers!

There was a hair on my plate and the cashier immediately stated that it was mine. How? It was coming from inside the plate! She was VERY rude and VERY reluctantly offered to make me a new plate. I chose to receive a refund instead. I can see how them losing money on a new order would bother them so much when they barely want to give you a second piece of dry lemon. They need to work on customer service skills and learn to take ownership.

We enjoy the seafood at this neighborhood place. It is family owned and has a cozy feeling. Food comes out quick and hot. Self service keeps costs down.

The food was delicious. Great music playing. Very pleasant experience. I went because a friend recommended I go. Our visit did not disappoint.

Simply the BEST seafood in San Antonio. The staff is wonderful and always makes us feel welcome. Great prices, portions, and everything I've tried is amazing. Love the music they play, but the food is the real star. I can live off of their ceviche and the breaded and broiled shrimp and fish. My wife loves the fried clams, the coconut shrimp, and the fried catfish. Go on Friday so you can get the baked potato as a side. This wonderful, family run place has become one of our favorite places to eat in all of Texas.
