For years this bijou bar had been a must go for all my pub crawl parties. The bartenders are pretty cool and last years Super Bowl party here was off the charts. . .absolutely amazing.The drinks are made with just the right amount of spirits, if you know what I mean. Pool tables and darts keep it lively and competitive.

Me and the husband went together for the first time on Aug 16 and again on Aug 23. He'd been before on his own with a few buddies. I like this place. They offer a full bar liquor-wise and an assortment of draft and bottled beers. They have one of those internet jukeboxes with endless choices of music. The fun is the bar trivia games. Our. At competes amongst ourselves as well as other bars in the US. Pretty fun. It's free to play. Categories of all things: 70 and 80s trivia, pop culture, sports, etc. Last week the bar was 15th in the nation out of several hundred bars. We kicked ass!!

This is my go-to bar for years and love the bartenders and people that visit. It is a wide-range of people and I have met some great people over the years. My favorite night is Wednesday nights for the $3.50 you-call-it. This did go up 50 cents since they reopened, but you cannot beat this price anywhere in town. Jenn, the bartender, works on Wednesday early shift and will take care of you. Since the reopening, they have taken the precautions and added food to there offerings. This food is from Max & Louie's New York Diner. This is an added bonus, but there is other food options nearby; including El Gallito De Jalisco that has good tacos and Jerusalem Grill that offers great sandwiches. Sometimes there is a vendor that will come into the Pub to sell delicious tamales.

If you're looking for a place to have drinks without feeling any kind of worries, this is the place.As soon as you walk in, you are immediately family. Everyone from the patrons, to the management treats you like family.I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time and trying to meet new people!

Meh - even for a dive bar, this place wasn't very much fun. There were lots of cars in the parking lot but where was everyone? Only a handful of people inside, the bulk of the people were outside, smoking on the patio.The music was loud inside so you couldn't really hear each other. It was actually kind of boring and I didn't stay long. It was a good, safe place, just really didn't have much fun and didn't dig the vibe.Service was just "so-so" and there wasn't much that was Irish about this place.

Been here once before and it was a great place. Glad to say it hasn't changed. If your on Wurzbach don't blink because you will miss it. Please look this place up and pass by. Great specials and friendly staff. I will be back when I meet up with my friends.

Best dive bar in the medical center, hands down! Great bartenders, great company! Jukebox, darts, pinball, pool, playing cards, trivia and board games available. They do service industry nights on Sunday and Mondays. Also, $3.50 you call it every Wednesday. Always popping on Friday/Saturday nights! Great patio with TV too! Great place for birthday parties!

Don't like to see bartenders taking shots with customers. All of the TV's on TV channels seems like a missed opportunity to use it for advertisements with a logo for the bar and upcoming specials. Good sound system though but I didn't hear one Irish song while in the bar. Would benefit from some premixed music so there is no dead air times which happened almost every time a song stopped. There's a jukebox but people didn't pay any attention to it. Guinness was sadly short poured both times. I like the place but small changes would put it over the top and get some repeat customers.

Horrible service! Walked in there on 2 separate occasions about 2 months apart and was Ignored. My friend and I walked in and patiently waited for acknowledgment. Instead the bartender completely ignored us and went on with his conversation with his friends. So, once again, we left and went to another bar.
