Easily one of the best old fashioned drinks I've experienced in SATX. We ordering doubles and boy did they pack a punch. Super easy to drink though. Atmosphere reminds me of an old bar from prohibition lol. Will definitely be back.

What's not to love? Tucked away in a "strip center" among great restaurants (Blu, Eddie V's and Cover), it's the perfect after dinner drink spot to just chill until you're ready to call it a night. GREAT bartenders who provide excellent service and the best Old Fashioned's in town! Their drinks are so delicious that I barely want to have anything anywhere else!

A friend and I went to The Edison Experiment recently on a Thursday evening for the first time (around 8PM). I was surprised to see there was only a couple other people there so I did ask if they tend to get busy. The bartender explained to us that they get busier post 9PM which is when their live comedy begins on Thursday. The bar itself was casual bar with a bit of an upscale feel which was nice. I liked that it came off as a speakeasy. Truthfully, I didn't even know it was in the shopping center by my house (I moved in 1+ year ago) so it really is a hide away. The bartender, Jasmine, was very friendly and helped us pick our drink from the seasonal menu which was fun. Upon arrival, we ordered a round of our usual drink (deep eddy lime vodka w/ club soda and then also ordered "the spring forward" cocktail from their seasonal menu. The drinks were good. While they do have happy hour until 9PM on Thursday, it only included 4 drinks and made the drinks about $8 which isn't a stellar deal. All in all, this would be a cute spot I could see being good for a date night or another quiet night with friends.

I ordered the maple old fashioned, and then the rye old fashioned with cinnamon. Both were mediocre. The rye old fashioned was not a single cube. Bartender was vaping at the bar, which I thought was kind of weird

Young, slow, and poor bartenders. $16 old fashion was the worst i have ever had!! By far!! Friend's cucumber martini was undrinkable!Too bad, good setting & atmosphere.

I came here on a date with my boyfriend because we live trying new drinks. We were not disappointed as there is a large menu with plenty of different drinks to choose from. The venue was extreme cute with nice lighting and cute decorations as well as comfortable couches for sitting. We obliged to sit at the bar and talk for a few hours and were treated very kindly by the bartenders who served us very quickly, answered all of our questions, and carefully attended to all of our needs. I recommend this place to everyone and we cant wait to go back!

I met up with a friend for a quick drink... ended up staying most of the evening!First the service: our bartender was fast, friendly and attentive to us no matter how busy it got. She made great drink recommendations that tasted amazing as well!What really fit us to stay was the live music! The singer was incredible. She had such a variety of genre everyone was sure to enjoy something! She was also engaging between sets visiting one in one with the audience!I loved the ambience. It has that "speakeasy" kind of vibe to it.I will visit again for sure!

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Arrived on a Saturday around 7pm. Waited way too long to be acknowledged and have someone take our order. The guy that took our order (we later realized was the maintenance guy) was googling the recipe for one of the drinks we ordered. We settled for wine to make it easy on the guy. No wonder there are hardly any patrons there in spite of having life music. Will never be back. 11/23/2024

I asked Diego to make me any drink as long as it was refreshing and he made me a delicious cocktail. Not only was the drink good but my friends and I enjoyed the chill vibe and the live music is SO GOOD. Would definitely recommend this place :)
