Thai O Cha

A nice neighborhood place that's larger than it appears from the outside. There was plenty of seating and can accommodate large groups. While there is buffet it appears to be for lunch. I went with my daughter for dinner. We ordered baby spring rolls as an appetizer. Nice crunchy bite size portions. I ordered green chicken curry medium heat and my daughter ordered pan woon sen chicken. My spice level was good, I'm so glad I went with medium or I think I would have been miserable. I'm used to eating spicy but like to taste what I'm eating. The pad woonsen was a tad sweeter than what I'm used to, but still good.

I regret to make this review,I truly enjoy Thai ocha but I drove all the way from Helotes just to come and eat at Thai ocha and since they won't let out a statement or change the hours on the website or google (which mentioned it was open) and just to find out that it was closed until January 2025.They are also upping the prices to 15 dollars for the buffet. I wouldn't want anyone to deal with the same issue I had to go through and I really hope they add more dishes especially since they are upping the price. I am truly disappointed in the lack of updates on their part and hopefully they learn from this. I will be adding the flyer that is outside their door so that others can see the news and not have the same Experience as me.

Our family's favorite for Thai cuisine. Their buffet is not overwhelming with dishes, but just the right amount to satisfy your appetite. The dishes are prepared fresh and seemed to be always full. We went for lunch on a Saturday and all but 4 tables were occupied. The service is always very friendly and catering. The ambiance was perfect for a a large group or an intimate meal. Parking is limited in the front of the store, but there is a lot located behind the building. Will definitely be back! Enjoy!

It was not a national holiday and google told me this place was open. I drove 30 min just to find out they were closed for no reason. There was no note on the door telling the customers why. There was no business hours posted on the door. It is located in a very run down building and a sketchy area. Please call ahead of time before you pull up and don't trust what yelp or google tells you if they're open or not.

Not enough variety with the items on the buffet. The food was average, not bad just not what I expected

What a great find! Do not judge a book by its cover and this is a perfect case in point. Tried their buffet, not big but so good. No large pans of food setting as they keep making it fresh and refilling it as it is taken. My wife and I left with our Thai food cravings taken care of. Service was excellent with glasses never empty. Any question about an item were answered with out you feeling stupid for asking.

The buffet is just amazing ! For a very reasonable price that would pay for one dish, you get a wide selection of dishes and options. And each one was simply delicious and the best Thai food around ! Great quality and good service. Would definitely recommend! Parking can be a bit of a challenge but it's worth the effort! Love this place

If you like authentic Thai food this is the place to come in dine. I usually eat the Tom kai gai every time I order this it reminds me of Thailand. When i would visit every September. I've had the curry and pad Thai both are very delicious. Then end the meal with warm sweet rice and ice cream.

Lunch buffet is amazing, food is always so fresh, warm and delicious! The staff always friendly!

Buffet was decent could be larger. Interior was nice. Will come back. Better than the Philippine restaurant close by.
