Stopped into this new location to pickup takeout on a Tuesday night around 8pm. I ordered the classic chicken pad thai and some cheese rolls. The phone ordering process and pickup was relatively easy and friendly. I was honestly surprised, however, that there was nobody in the restaurant. I mean, the place was empty! Having been to another location, it couldn't have been because of the food, but perhaps that this location is tucked away at the back of a strip center behind a gas station. When I got the food home, my pad thai was still hot but first impression based on the container looked like a small portion. I was mistaken. The noodles were filling with a good balanced portion of chicken, bean sprouts and crushed peanuts. Honestly, the dish was on point all the way around. The noodles tasted fresh, as did the chicken, although I expected little more heat from the Medium spice I ordered. The cheese rolls were as well hot and tasted fresh. As I mentioned, the restaurant was bare, but I also noticed only one employee in the restaurant as well. The restaurant even has a small market of snacks and dry goods.Overall, this location probably isn't as nice or decorated as the one on 1604/Bitters, but the food was consistent. I'd stop in again, if given the chance.

I friend recommended meeting at Thai Hut for a late lunch. It is tucked in the back of a small strip center at NW Military and lockhill Selma. The restaurant is very clean and the staff was helpful. Lunch was delicious. We had dumplings as an appetizer and pad thai as entree. Both were wonderful. The portions were generous and I had enough for dinner. I will definitely be back soon!

Don't pass on this restaurant. We stopped in today for a late lunch. We had soup, green curry with tofu, and chicken drunken noodles. All of our food was delicious! The service was outstanding and I enjoyed the background music. The small market as you walk in had traditional Asian groceries. Will definitely be back!

They said they have Chinese broccoli (gialan) but they only give you some leaves even when you ask for extra. I don't recommend this place at this point. Maybe by reading this review they will get the hint. Btw, I've still to find a truly good authentic Thai restaurant in San Antonio. All these rave reviews provided by so called local 'foodies' don't know what they are talking about. I suppose having good AUTHENTIC food on the west coast is a curse...and all these people who post these rave reviews don't know any better...as they say 'ignorance is bliss'

We ordered Thai Hut to go and although they had just been open a week everything was ready within 10 minutes and was fresh and flavorful! The host was friendly and let us know that the market would soon be available with all your usual Asian market essentials. While I'm sad the dumpling restaurant is no longer at this spot, I'm excited to have our new favorite Thai restaurant so close.
