Well when in TX its OK to go to the Texas Roadhouse as it is one of my favorite restaurants!! I was on a girls trip in San Antonio with 3 of my Travcon friends & Ashley had a friend who we had plans to meet up here & have dinner with her. First, I must say our waitress was the BOMB!! Haley was her name & she was AWESOME & fun!! Super friendly with a great personality. She definitely loves working here & enjoys her job. We came in on 05/20/2024 around 8pm. I usually get the filet when I'm @ a Texas Roadhouse but went with the chicken critter dinner instead. It was very tasty. The chicken was nice & moist and not dried out which can happen @ restaurants. I got a loaded baked potato (a favorite) along with a soda water & tito's and vodka. The service was on point & the food was tasty. We all enjoyed our time here & had fun!!Thank you Haley for your outstanding service. Keep up the great work!!

I went to texas roadhouse on a friday night and boy was it busy. It was about a 45min wait but the staff were all nice and they even had lil samples to tease your tastebuds once you got "on deck" meaning you were closer to getting your table. The environment of texas roadhouse is always something to look forward to and the decor of the place is 10/10. Now to the main part, the food. the appetizers we got were fried pickles, the cactus blossom, and tater skins. the fried pickles were only a 7/10 they were really salty and not all the way fried through. Cactus blossom initially i gave a 10/10 but it goes cold pretty quickly and the colder it gets the nastier it becomes. it's just sooooo salty but i do think everyone should get it atleast once. Tater skins were 10/10. they were delicious and perfectly crisped up and were loaded. For my enteee i had gotten the porterhouse t-bone with my sides being mac n cheese and a ceaser salad. the salad was pretty good, tasted like any other salad and the mac n cheese was giving Kraft but it was still pretty good. The t-bone was a 10/10. the meat was cooked exactly how i wanted and it was just so juicy and flavorful. Smothering it in mushrooms and onions was a wonderful decision and worth every penny on the upgrade. the mushrooms really elevated the flavor of the t-bone. Overall i give texas roadhouse a 8/10. Definitely will be back again for some more tater skins and another steak all with excellent service. But to be so completely honest, just those rolls and that butter is enough to leave me craving roadhouse all the time.

This Texas Roadhouse has to be the BEST in San Antonio or surrounding areas. The steaks are ALWAYS tender and juicy and cooked to perfection! Employees are very friendly and welcoming and service is always great! Some outdoor seating is available as well. The restaurant is always clean and tables are cleaned off promptly.

From the first look at the rolls we should have left. We stuck it out and yeah almost $200 for 3 of us was not worth it. The food was subpar this visit. Won't be visiting again for a good long while!

I love, love, love Texas Roadhouse, we're never disappointed in this chain. This restaurant has been our go-to when we moved to SA, and although it is very loud in there, the ambiance is very nice! Everyone is very "chill" and down-to-earth, including the staff! Our servers have always been very friendly and attentive, as well as the manager who comes around and asks everyone if the orders and food are good! Other than the loud noise, I don't have any negative feedback to say about this location. The steaks are always great and well prepared, and the shrimp combos/add-one too! Do visit if you get the chance!

We've been here many times, glad to see the standards are in place! We were seated quickly, and greeted by a pleasant hostess.Atmosphere is typical Texas Roadhouse, not quiet, but not biker bar rowdy lol.Our waitress was pleasant and took our orders in a timely manner. Let's start with the food!First my wife's drink, Sangria Margarita. My wife's rating on a 1-5 is a 5! Definitely a great start.Rattlesnake bites.A little more spicey than we remembered, but not overly so. I definitely recommend getting these! The chili also shows the chef is not afraid to use some spice! I highly recommend this also!Main course, prime rib. Excellent! Cooked as ordered and again, not overly seasoned but shows the chef isn't afraid of seasoning. Overall, I'm very happy to say this particular location continues to provide an excellent dining experience!

I'm so sad - we loved this location when if first opened a couple of years ago, but have experienced a steady and predictable decline. The service at both tables and bar has become atrocious. Inattentive and lackluster at best. The quality of the food has become intolerable. I had a ribeye tonight and easily 1/3rd of it was inedible because of gristle and fat content.

We were immediately seated and served bread. Our waiter came to our table, took our drink orders and brought them quickly. He took our lunch orders which were brought in a timely manner. We both ordered the six ounce top sirloin steak. I had mashed potatoes with green beans. My seat mate had sweet potato with a side salad. Our food was well prepared. The atmosphere was peasant, but the music was a little loud. We will go back to this location.

Best Prime Rib (chain) in San Antonio.Texas Roadhouse has by far the best chain cooked Prime Rib in the city, especially the IH 10 location. Although, it is more of a medium cut they deliver a very tasty, correctly marbled meat & seasoned cut, it also tastes slightly smoked although I suspect it is more of an additive (smoke flavor). Every now and then you can get a true medium rare cut, and on these special days it is truly to be savored and appreciated as it is the exception as most people are terrified to cook it medium rare convinced it is rare which more than likely creates issues for the cooks from the masses that have no idea how prime rib is meant to be served & enjoyed. Years ago before its decline, the Outback in the late 80's & early 90's owned this honor but these days their Prime Rib is simply awful with the Alice Springs chicken being the only exceptional item on the menu The green beans at TR are stellar, potato skins stellar, service stellar & the manager, Craig truly aims to deliver quality in a very noisy & chaotic environment as TR is almost always packed with loyal patrons because of the quality & fair price points. As for the steaks, they are consistently great but for me, I brave the crowds strictly for the Prime Rib. The only place that has a better Prime Rib is Boudro's on the River Walk but it is double the price and is best blackened with a 50/50 shot at a true medium rare cut. So if you have never had a cut of prime rib that you liked, I suggest giving it a shot, order it "rare" ( take a leap of faith) as it may look red but I assure you it will be at least medium.
