Texas Prime Bbq

I was recently in Pleasanton and decided to try this BBQ place. They had an awesome lunch special, 2 pork ribs, a sausage link and two sides for $10.99! The ribs were good although I prefer beef ribs. The sausage was good as well. I had to try the brisket because the pictures looked good! I asked for it marbled but it was not as marbled as I usually like. The corn salad was good and so was the potato salad. The plate also comes with two slices of bread. There are picnic tables inside and you can help yourself to more water or tea. You order at the counter and the service was very helpful and kind. I would definitely come back to try different meats and the yummy looking desserts.

Food was competition quality and the sides I had was rice and beans, both were very good. Going back this week end.

I ordered the brisket plate and my beautiful wife ordered the turkey plate. Brisket and turkey was cooked to perfection! Potato salad was great as was the corn slaw. Cowboy beans were out of this world! I had always heard this establishment had great food but I had no idea it was this great. We will most definitely be eating here again.

Although this is a hole in the wall, the prices were incredibly reasonable, the portions were twice of what I've ever had at a bbq place, and EASILY the best brisket I have ever had. The corn salad, beans, and potato salad were exceptional. Bottomless sweet tea is never a bad idea either. Make sure that you take advantage of the banana pudding if it's still available because it's first come first serve. Trust me you want to get on it!

Amazing BBQ! The ribs are a must! Get there early to make sure you get to try their desserts!

Came for lunch, I had the brisket & sausage plate with potato salad and the cowboy beans. The sausage had a great flavor and was just spicy enough. The brisket had a nice smoke flavor, thick cut and was tender. Their BBQ sauce was a great addition, for the meat and the beans. Potato salad was tasty, cowboy beans full of flavor. Staff was busy at noon, but quickly took the order and delivered the meal. Sadly I forgot to order the banana pudding... next time. If you are in the Pleasanton, TX area, it's worth stopping in.
