Only picture I took but let it be the one to bring you here !! SO SO SO GOOD! I did not leave a crumb of anything because it was so good! This was their Pecan Crusted Chicken, it came with veggies and potatoes wedges and they were melting in my mouth. I also ordered a Mexican martini which was so good too and when I asked for extra olives they did not disappoint.The server was very kind and attentive and the food came out at a perfect temperature and tasted amazing once again. Very cozy family vibes and definitely a place to check out !

Today I had the pleasure of driving up to New Braunfels for lunch to celebrate my beautiful daughter in law, Cat's, birthday. She chose Texas Bistro, since it is a favorite of hers. To be honest, I was a little disappointed because we were going for brunch. When I first went on the website to plan my meal, I really liked the sound of the Greek Chicken Sandwich. I was sad to learn that it would not be available during brunch. I would have to settle for something else.As soon as we were all seated in a very pleasant dining room decorated with Texas art and such, our server, Dalton, came to get our drink orders. He told us only the brunch menu was available and helped us find it in the large book style menus he had given us. Then he was off to get our drinks. I went in with a few options in my head, but ended up ordering something entirely different. Sometimes, even when I have a plan, I never know what I will be hungry for until the minute I order. This time, I switched to Southside Shrimp. The menu described it as "7 Blackened Shrimp with Tomatoes, Mushrooms & Spinach over Cilantro-Lime Rice. Topped with a Poached Egg & Chorizo-Hollandaise". Y'all... I have never been served anything that was so close to the menu description. It was really a pretty plate, as were all of our choices. The shrimp were cooked absolutely perfectly. Every element of the dish played well with the others. I was extremely satisfied.The entire lunch experience was great. I understand why Cat likes this place so much. The food was delicious. Our server was awesome. The dining room was pleasant. There is just nothing bad to say.

Wow! The food is fabulous and the staff is great. I never had to look for our server, she was always there to see if our drinks were good or if we needed anything. That was our first time there with our friends who invited us. Will go back again. Wonderful place and great food. And the ambiance was nice for a small place and being full you could hear each other speaking. I just can wait to go back for the tuna tartare

I love coming here! We've been here quite a few times and the food and service has always been consistent. My favorite dish here is the bistro pasta with grilled chicken. It has a zesty flavor and I love how fresh the veggies are!

Cute little spot, not too far off i35, and SO good! The menu covered every craving and made it hard to choose one thing! We started with the cranberry mule and it was just the right amount of tart, with strong ginger flavor (but not overpowering). We had bistro salads, which were light, very fresh, and super flavorful despite their simplicity. The stuffed poblano was the star of the meal and made me sad that we don't live closer! it was light and fresh and full of veggies and chicken (we added) with a savory cilantro jalepeno sauce and just a touch of melted cheese. It was one of the best veggie forward dishes I have ever had! We also had the shrimp tacos on homemade tortillas that were also epic! The burgers flying by us smelled like heaven, and tables near by had orders from all over the menu, which tells me they do most (or all) things very well! The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful with just the right amount of attentiveness.

Wow, hidden gem! This place was fabulous. We have the chips and avocado salsa ( huge portion $6) then we both had the chicken with jalapeño sauce(yum) chicken was moist & the breading was the perfect amount. The poblano mashed potatoes were very flavorful. Service was spot on & lots of smiles. You will not be disappointed.

Sharlene (sorry if I misspelled) was an amazing waitress, attentive and had great recommendations.We started with the bistro duck poppers, they were amazing! So hot and cheesy, paired amazingly with the cold and slightly sweet caramelized onions. Slight spice, very subtle. Could eat this everyday for the rest of my life.Duck quesadillas were full of flavor, if it were larger it would be an excellent entree. You can SEE the duck pieces, and the crema pairing was *chef kiss*Kiss Me cocktail was very much reminiscent of a whiskey sour but with added blackberry flavor (no egg whites). Love that it wasn't chunky with fruit pieces, it packed a punch.Pecan crusted chicken and crispy potatoes were so good with the apricot glaze. Seasonal veg was thin sliced squash cooked with what seemed like pico de gallo. Very tasty I couldn't stop eating it.My husband got the blacked salmon and added shrimp. Both were very plump and juicy, rice cooked just right and had the same seasonal veg. There were a bunch of cool & cute paintings hung up of cows, cowboys and other animals.
