El Rinconcito is embarrassing. It's supposed to be Venezuelan food but the arepas don't taste or even look like Venezuelan arepas at all. They're oily and tasteless. The yellow cheese they use is NOT the type of yellow cheese used in Venezuelan food. Try Gouda for christ's sake, this was that type of Mexican yellow cheese that doesn't melt. Their empanadas are okay. We ordered an arepa, four empanadas and two orders of tequeños, and we received the arepa, no tequeños and three empanadas that were not the flavors we ordered. This is such a weird way to run a business. Bad quality and poor attention to detail. I'll never patronize again.

Great little spot for tacos and traditional TexMex. Looks small on the outside but plenty of room to sit and enjoy. We went this morning to try this place out and it was well worth it. The tacos, the tortillas and the salsas were all on point. We are adding this place to our top five in San Antonio. Just need to get them into the sweet tea department and it will be all set. As we were eating a lot of regulars would come in and ask for the menudo, next time we will try that.

I think we came on a bad day. We waited a very long time for our food. My boyfriend's enchiladas turned out to be chilaquiles. Not bad, but not what he ordered. My chicken fajita tacos were really bland and the beans even more so. The potatoes were crunchy. The music was really loud. Just not a good experience.

I love this place! Not just the best tacos in town, but also the best Venezuelan food. The portions are great and the food is fairly priced. The owner is the sweetest man and his wife is just lovely as well. Great seasoning and you can tell they love what they do. They open really early which is awesome too!
