Oh. Hell. Yes!The chilaquiles rojos brings the heat. It's a great way to start the day with friendly staff at a small business.[edit]I should have waited to post until I'd tried these excellent tortillas. Irregularly shaped, chewy, and perfect for mopping up fiery salsa roja. These have to be hand made. They're just too good to be bought.

Delish. Hit the spot. If you are out and about looking for Mami's cooking here's your spot. I'm referring to the good food that was a Sunday meal cooked all morning and you would wait for with anticipation... The menudo is not too salty and flavorful. The kick is soft on the palate. The bowl is a generous and plentiful ( actually too much for me) which is also *loaded* with tripe. Served hot and with a smileThis restaurant has great staff -a mix of ages. They know their regulars well. One server knows the beverage of her client intimately- just come and call this spot a home away from home.

As soon as I walked in, the waitress greeted me. Was very polite and professional. I'm very happy and more than satisfied with how the tacos came out. The tortillas were fresh and homemade, the food inside them was fresh and hot. Bag came with enough hot sauce and salt. I really enjoyed them. Enough to try to write a decent review. Everyone should try this place. It was really good all around. Also the tacos had a good amount of food inside them. Really impressed. Good job to the cooks and the staff. Thanks again!

$16 for a bowl of caldo n tea for lunch. What a rip off... Givdn about 8 chips brfore the caldo and 2 prices of lemon napkins were counted and xtra thin. employees hang out by front door so one has to go pass them and excuse oneselfplace is NOT worth it. Tea was $3.50Run and never go back!!!

Oh my gosh, the bean and cheese tacos here are SO GOOD!! (That's all I've tried so far) I barely moved into the area this year, so I was itching to try this place out and I was NOT disappointed. I will absolutely be going back, thank you for delicious food!

Just returned taco ordered for a group of teachers because one of the tacos had ROACH in it ! This absolutely unexceptionable and completely disgusting! This place needs to be shut down and it really make me wonder how many people have eaten ROACHES in their food . . Eat here at your own risk if and always check your tacos thoroughly!!!!

Pretty good breakfast tacos. Service could be better but it's not atrocious. I'd recommend trying it out if your in the area. Probably beats most places in the vicinity.

Honestly, this food is crazy overpriced for stuff that taste like cardboard. I paid $22 for a quesadilla plate with a little bag of chips and the tiniest guacamole.

food isn't great over priced I just been coming here every morning before work to have coffee with the guys. Became friends with the waitresses really nice lady's always on top of everything. I just have 2 or 3 cups of coffee with the guys while they have there breakfast. coffee was 1.99 then 2.99 now the owner told her ladies to charge only the guys that drink coffee 4.99 a cup and 2.99 if they take a cup to go. NEVER leave a tip on card because she keeps it she doesn't give the tips to the ladies when they work for it. people come to the restaurant because of them there personality and there hard work on checking on there tables. but I had to give it 1 star to post I wasnt going to rate

Food was very bland and the portions were small for the price! The flour tortillas served were cold and hard! They only had two servers to handle the inside and the drive thru. Someone needs to tell the cook that this is a Mexican Restaurant and spices are required! I know that the price of everything has gone up; but please don't serve a child's plate and change an adult price! If you're looking for good Mexican food in San Antonio stay away from this restaurant!
