I'm a Teka loyalist from my very first bite. Thanks to Frank and Ben for gifting us the best flavors! This is home of the best puffy tacos and bean and cheese cups on the planet. I've tried to make puffies at home but they do not compare to the original.

A great little restaurant with great priced lunch specials. The food is always delicious. Recommend for a lunchtime fix. The service is great. Ambiance is nice. Great for a quick meal.

as a long time San Antonio Mexican food patron, TEKA MOLINO goes down as authenticI grew up eating south side Taco Hut puffy tacos, bean cups, and guacamole cups. Taco Hut is long gone, but Teka Molino is even better!

It's 2.49 for a bean and cheese and the beans aren't good. The egg was over cooked and crumbly as well.

A visit to San Antonio wouldn't be complete without a stop here. Tonight I think because it was between lunch and dinner, the maggie was extremely frozen. I had to use a knife to soften it up enough to be able to double straw it. The beef puffy tacos as to die for, but watch the ones which want to fall apart from all the juices. Refried beans are homemade as is the rice.

This food made me happy. I grew up in SA and haven't lived here for almost 30 years. I still come back as often as I can for visits with friends and family. I was happy to see Teja Molino 2 opened near my folks home, so I ordered. The puffy taco was perfect especially once I put the spicy salsa verde on it. The cheese enchiladas were a childhood favorite so I went with old reliable. Both were delicious.

As a native of San Antonio, I remember the original Teka Molino on Josephine Street. It was always a treat to go there for bean rolls with my grandmother. Whenever I can make it to TM, I do. Nothing brings me back to my childhood like the beanrolls and the guacamole cups! The salsa is specific to this restaurant - love it. Service is order and pick up, the ambience is nothing special. One goes for the FOOD. True San Antonio Tex-Mex. The flavor of the corn and beans always comes through. I absolutely adore this place! I can't believe in all these years I have not written a review!

My family and I tried this restaurant for the first time this morning 2/7/2025. Miguel greeted us and answered our questions. He made great suggestions and took our order. Have to say everything was absolutely delicious and even the tea, coffee tasted great. I would highly recommend this establishment.
