Taurinos Mexican Restaurant

Delicious hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Chips are warm and crispy, salsa is spicy and tastes authentic. Al pastor torta is big and meaty. One thing unique about this dish is that the pork is not greasy, it's firm and doesn't have orange grease dripped out of the sandwich like many other al pastor tortas would have. With only $10.99, it comes with a side of waffle fries that are crispy and a nice add to the dish. Highly recommend you stop by this place when you're around the area. It's a casual and quick meal to surely make your tummy happy.

I literally went through drive thru for one taco. I ordered a carne guisada with cheese for $5.99 WTH! One taco.... I was better off going in and eating a breakfast plate! My taco was not even good so I paid that much for a taco that I could not even finish eating.

Amazing food. Some of the best been and cheese breakfast tacos. My mom swears by their Chicharron and salsa breakfast taco. I also love their cheese enchiladas plate. Yum! They sell Big Red in a can and you can ask for a cup of ice to make it perfect. Service is always so friendly. I've never been inside this location but there's often a line for the drive-thru, but it's always worth it.

Their prices are good. My server, Minerva was very nice.

It is difficult to stand out in San Antonio as a small casual Mexican restaurant, but Taurinos does just that. I have been going there for almost 20 years now and am so impressed. Firstly, the food is excellent. I think they have my favorite tortillas in the city, everything is always done perfectly, and I LOVE their tortilla soup (best in town). Perhaps even more importantly, they do all the little things right. They buss tables promptly and keep the restaurant immaculate. It is no wonder that they always have a perfect score from the health department. Then the service is always exceptional. They take your order right away and get food out quickly and always keep your drink full. In short, they are firing on all cylinders. I highly recommend this place.

Always stop here when i'm in the mood for tacos or any authentic mexican food. Great service and the prices are just right. Definitely stop by!

This establishment is always clean and comfortable. The food is delicious and portions are good. Service is friendly, courteous and fast. I would recommend this restaurant! It does get busy so plan ahead.

OMG I have died and gone to heaven. Saturday morning and this place was packed with tables of 3 generation families, and there was a long drive-thru line that wrapped all around the building. This place is their second location, at the corner of Callahan and Culebra. My waitress, Nancy, made me feel so welcome and recommended the Chicken Monterrey plate which had a brown sauce that turned out to be wow, simply wow. The red rice was small grained and delish, the chips and salsa yummy. Locally owned, blue plate winner.
