Taste of India

Second visit! The food was so good last week I decided to come back today. I HAD to get the Tikka Masala again. I also selected the Chicken Vindaloo and Mixed veggies. The mixed veggies is a selection that is cooked down nicely into a stew. Onion, potato, cauliflower and peas in a slightly spicy sauce. Very lovely. The Chicken Vindaloo is a spicy dish. Meat is so tender and appears to be both white and dark portions of chicken. There is also potato and all in a red colored broth. The red means "enter at your own risk! "The rice is simple, warm and fluffy and very light, if that makes sense. Not sure, but those might be caraway seeds strewn throughout. The Tikka Masala was a hit, as expected. So nice and creamy and the white meat chicken chunks are also very tender. And man! Can't get enough of the naan. They close the restaurant at 2:30 and reopen for dinner. This is a lot of food, y'all. I'll never be able to eat every bite no matter how hungry I am, so show up but bring your appetite.

Absolutely delicious--the lamb curry dish is fabulous--I am a wimp so I ask for no heat and they deliver and it does not detract from the outstanding flavor--big chunks of lamb in a savory sauce. The basmatic rice is plentiful and also delicious!Highly recommend!!

I came here during lunch with some friends, and I truly wish I liked it more. The food, as a TL;DR was really good, but the lady who was working on the day we came seemed like she didn't want to be there.She plopped the laminated lunch menus in front of us without so much as a word, but it is worded a little unclearly as far as what you can select for the lunch combo. We requested if we could have the full menu, to which she replied by rolling her eyes and sighing before snatching up the menus and bringing back the full menus. There were lines drawn on the menu in Sharpie, and we couldn't tell if they were crossing things out or underlining them. One of the friends I was with asked, "does that mean you currently have these items, or that you don't?" to which the lady replied "yeah."Eventually, I ended up ordering butter chicken and mushroom naan because I got nervous at being unable to tell what items they currently were able to prepare. And, the food was very good, the portions were generous. But the location itself is sparse and cramped, and the lady was just mean despite it not being very busy. I would like to try it again, maybe she was just having a bad day, but my first experience definitely could have been better.

Another fabulous lunch at our favorite Indian restaurant! Taste of India truly stands out for serving delicious, unprocessed, real food that's full of flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. The portions are generous, especially when it comes to the protein. The spices are perfectly balanced. Prices are very fair. Restaurant is always clean, the atmosphere cozy with soft background Indian music. We'll be back! Thank you.

I've been in the neighborhood for a few years but never really tried this little gem as I've been loyal to another Indian spot further away.. well today was the day. I ordered chicken Korma to go and a side of garlic naan.. the aroma as you walk in the restaurant awoken all my senses. The food was so flavorful, both the chicken and the rice, which sometimes the rice from other spots is just bland.. the one thing I would say is that I wish the dish had more chicken.. only a couple of pieces were found but honestly the sauce was sooo delicious that I was ok soaking it up with the rice and naan. I will definitely go back and try different dishes now.

One of my favorite restaurants! We always get chicken biryani and can't leave without drinking my chai tea. Everything is delicious! If you're craving Indian food, this is the spot!

Great food, nice quiet restaurant. Service is excellent. Worth trying. Our family go to Indian food.

I just finished having lunch at Taste of India - I highly recommend it. The menu is simple and user friendly. The prices are more than fair, and the food is VERY GOOD. Please try this place out.

This is place is absolutely disgusting they tried to take advantage of my 80 year old grandfather by tipping himself 31% with out my grandfathers consent. Then proceeded to give us 30$ back cash out of the register when we complained! 100% so unprofessional from someone that was in the restaurant industry for 3 years ! Service was horrible the food was decent

The food from here is absolutely amazing. I felt bad because I showed up 30 minutes before closing time and ordered to go. They assured me it was ok and quickly made my order. 10/10!
