Been coming here since they opened!Right by my childhood home, and absolutely never disappoints.The service is ALWAYS quick & correct.I can't remember a single time that they messed up an order for us.Management is kind and concerned with quality of service and customer satisfaction.The food always comes hot and fresh, and the flavor always brings it!The energy in the place is always high and welcoming.It's well lit, the music over the speakers is always at a tasteful background noise level, and the mariachis are great when they have them, and I'll continue coming back time and time again.

Service was great. A nice vibe. The food was decent though. I had the carne guisada with a tripas taco on the side and wasn't very happy with it. I didn't get the bang for my buck. If I did ever come back I would definitely try something else.

Big old Water bug in the soup...The service was great and the ambiance was amazing. But that water bug turned me completely off...

If you find yourself on the south side of San Antonio and you're looking for a great place to have some good breakfast tacos with a very authentic atmosphere I would highly recommend Taqueria Mexico. The service is fast, efficient and they are not shy of giving you all the things you're asking for customize your meals not to mention you get the original authentic taste of the way. The food is supposed to taste. I have to say this is definitely a place making the drive definitely worth it not to mention definitely place so you'll find yourself just practically licking the plate and how delicious the food is. The food is so good here and I find myself always taking food to go even after eating.

Let me get started with my drink I had the lemonade taste good but a bit sour. But my plate was banging yo!! The portions on the plate are very large and sometimes too big, super hard to finish the whole plate. But the chicken was great it was still moist and very tasty. They give a good amount of avocado and sour cream. The rice and beans were on point. 10/10 for my plate. Nothing special about the beef enchiladas tbh Overall we had a nice lunch there we've been there a few times and we always have a great meal. Our service was fast and easy going I liked that she was to the point and didn't bug us very 10 seconds.

My regular spot for breakfast tacos was closed so I looked this place up. They have a sit down restaurant and a drive thru which made things convenient. Service through the drive thru was very quick. I ordered a Monday - Friday special or 3 bean and cheese tacos for $3. Tortillas were fresh, beans were good. Cheese was your generic shredded cheddar cheese and was halfway melted. Not bad for the price though. I'd recommend for a good quick bite.

Was craving the beef! This place always hits the spot. TexMex comfort food and great service. The beef fajita was tender and flavorful, the shrimp although a good size la led flavor. The brisket plate was tender, flavorful and great portion size. Wash it all down with a tasty beer or margarita and stay for the mariachi trio. Parking is plentiful.

I stopped here today to meet some retired work friends. I'm not going to comment on their meals although one friend had the pork chop and the other had the Carne Asada. They both seemed to enjoy their lunch but I never asked so I'm not including it in this review. I had the three cheese enchiladas alacart. They were okay, not great but definitely not bad. Our server was great, very attentive. The restaurant is very nice. I know they have excellent breakfasts, this is just my first experience at lunch. Give them a try, you may like them and I would be interested in hearing your thoughts.

Authentic texmex. What sent it over the top from others was the food temperature. Plates were hot, which made the cheese gooey, and the sauce didn't make the food cool like some places where cold sauce makes the dish only warm. Service was good, waitress was there everything we needed refills. Tortillas were in house made flour, so good. Portions were large and the sauce was more than needed another plus as some places skimp on sauce, not here. Ambiance is that of an authentic Mexican restaurant non chain. No frills. A mariachi band arrived as we left.

Half way Thur my meal found a hair in my food called the waitress over she took the hair and my plate away manager came over and told me that no way it came from the kitchen still charge me half and did nothing to assist the customer never ever going back .
