Taqueria La Tapatia

I stopped checking in on Yelp, but I imagine in 6 years, we probably went at least 300 times. A few months ago, I ordered through the drive through and they messed up our order. Disappointing, but it happens. I noticed the food started tasting different. I'm not sure if they got new cooks, new staff, changed the recipes, switched food suppliers, or changed the brand of ingredients, but something was off. I continued to go, thinking it was me, but then others in the household starting saying the same thing and I noticed we not only didn't finish our meals completely like we used to, but most of it went to the garbage. On my last visit, I had heard the girl wrong and I apologized to her that I had made an error in my ordering, but she was just blatantly rude about it. I haven't been back since.

I wanted soup or hot chocolate. Something hot because it is freezing. Out of soup, except Meuendo. Not for me..Hubs had that and I wasn't hot. My child's plate was a taco, cheese, beans rice and lettuce and tomato. No seasoning at all including salt. Service was good, but very rushed. The singers were so loud we did not enjoy this restaurant at all.

This place is almost always full and it serves a Tejano clientele with Tex Mex food and drinks. This is not a bar, but numerous drink specials are available. The service is good and the food portions and prices are very reasonable.

Nice and comfy little restaurant in the Southside, customer service was good, serving portion was great. Super Nachos w/ carne asada meat & complementary chips and salsa, tea is additional. Comfortable seating and clean restaurant.

It's the Southside, good Mexican food isn't hard to find, except in this spot. The barbacoa is the greasiest I've ever had. Also, the service was slow and not particularly friendly.

I didn't get to take a picture because I got up so fast and my kids were freaking out but there was roaches on the wall and table When I told the cashier she just laughed and proceeded to charge me.

I like it. Every location has consistently good food. Unfortunately i went on karaoke night and it was super loud but it was fun. Everyone was having a great time. I had chalupas and my friends had enchiladas. Everything was delicious . They got my chalupas exactly how i like them. The service was excellent as usual. The girl was very attentive.

Breakfast tacos thos am.The bean and cheese was good but the cheese was piled on thick and did not melt at all with the heat of the beans. The potato and egg taco was good. No salt or seasonings...which is fine by me but may not be your thing. Drive through was quick.Tacos were better than average in size. Sean said the sausage and egg taco was on point. I would eat here again :)

Don't let any of these picky 1 star haters mislead you! I go on Fridays and it's always awesome: food, manager, hot and kind server! What stands out the most is the Karaoke DJ being so vibrant and accommodating. Then there's the audience: let me tell you that this has had by far the best karaoke audience of all the others I've visited. I'm no where near perfect singing, but these people are reasonable and enjoy you none the less! For all singers out there, its worth the drive down south!

Really rude waitresses with bad attitude , my second time coming here . I won't recommend this place too anyone , who would come here with bad customer service.
