Karaoke's. It's 7:55pm. Not sure when it started but I know it is way too loud. Can't have a conversation without yelling.

This is our first time at this place. I'm certain that we will not be back for dinner. Lunch, maybe if Karaoke isn't going on. Karaoke ruined the whole meal really. The food was ok. My husband liked his whole fish. My niece liked her tacos. My Gordita was good. The quesadilla cheese had an almost chewy, weird soft mouth feel. The flour tortillas were bland and pretty much didn't taste like anything. The chips were stale. The green salsa was good. The red one was bland. Almost flavorless. The service was average when the servers weren't dancing with each other on the dance floor and I could get their attention. I've never seen that before. Does that happen at this place a lot? Idk. The margaritas were weak according to others at my table. We came to this place because Maria Bonita restaurant down the street had an hour and a half wait. Never again for dinner. Nope. One positive though. The guy singing Karaoke is living his best life! (Even though he can't carry a tune)

We had a party of 15 to celebrate our family and when the food came out we knew right away we chose the right venue for us to enjoy time together. Food: The food was simply amazing, every dish was vibrant and delicious...and you can easily discern that the food was freshly made with love. very dish was fresh and tasty. Service: We were blown away by the timely service and their willingness to accommodate our every request. Edgar, our waiter for the evening, was exceptional and offered not only superb suggestions but a friendly attitude as well.Overall: A+. There are literally thousands of places to eat in SATX, but this little gem is one that we will definitely becoming back to again and again! Come check them out...you will not be disappointed!!!! ¡Que sabor!

Tried this place for the first time and I was disappointed. I thought I would pick up a potato and chorizo taco to go but when I got home and looked at my taco it was more potato and hardly any chorizo. I was already at home and didn't want to drive all the way back to complain. I wouldn't recommend this place because obviously they would rather not give you what you paid for then to keep customers coming back

The ambiance is pretty typical for a Mexican restaurant. With the music competing from the kitchen to the main area of the restaurant. The menu is well done with pictures and large print. The chips they serve when you sit down are nice and thick and unsalted so if you're watching the salt intake they have you covered. I ordered the Mexican plate, a good start whenever you try a Mexican restaurant for the first time. It was very meh. The enchiladas were small and nothing about them was very special. The beans were okay, kind of bland but again lacking salt. The rice was alright but I've had better. I could have been okay with it all but the service could have been better. I waited a while for my server to bring me my bill, at one point sitting at a table talking with another server. Oh well, with all the other choices of Mexican food in the area It won't be hard to write this one off to experience and further somewhere else. I hope your experience is better and they can win you over as for me. I will stay closer to Wonderland

Wow ! I have made it my mission to try every Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, and last night my adventure took me to the Taqueria La Tapatia. The restaurant itself is one of those old-school, kinda dark inside classic Mexican places - a perfect retreat from the sweltering weather outside. First let me say I'm an unapologetic devotee of chile rellenos. However last night I tried chicken fajitas and it was incredible! The chicken and veggies were grilled just right, even a little burnt, but I love that for my peppers and onions. Not the flashiest place but the quality of the meal, great service, and perfect atmosphere earn it 5 stars!

This spot serves authentic, traditional Mexican cuisine in a cozy, Mexico-inspired atmosphere. The customer service, particularly from Joseline, is top-notch. The food is consistently delicious and never disappoints!

Tried this place after change from Tink a Taco. Totally different. Fish was bland, French Fries were under cooked, cold and mushy. We will not go there again.

Please do not go to LA Tapitia on Fredericksburg Rd. The manager would not let me return extremely salty tacos. They were not edible. All I wanted is another kind of tacos. Again the manager is bad. Saturday morning at 830am.
