This is my favorite place for their refried beans, and I love the creamy jalapeño salsa. I ordered a margarita and it was mediocre, I wouldn't order that again but i do love their bean and cheese tacos here. Favorite in San Antonio

AVOID!!! Food wasn't terrible... but what was terrible, was the service first of all. I ordered a potato, egg, and cheese burrito. I asked if I could add beans to it and was told "no." Ok, so be it. Upon getting to the window, the man working swiped my card, closed the window, and walked away to talk sh*t to another employee in Spanish. It's San Antonio, I understand you. Finally, while eating the burrito, I found a 3 inch long blonde hair in the red salsa. I was officially done eating after that, am thoroughly grossed out, and now writing this review.

I ordered Barbacoa and I asked for cilantro and onions and it's surprise me that they were going to charge me for something that's supposed to come with your taco. Even the lemons they were going to charge me. Crazy!!

This place has gone through some identity changes and one would have thought that lessons would be learned from the history of mistakes this place has been known for, but it seems history really repeats itself. I've been to this place over the years and while they have moments where they have pleasantly surprised me, the tragic truth is that it's been few and extremely far in between times.I went yet again today to get something to eat. I was pressed for time and this was the only place that didn't have a long line. I stopped and ordered two torras the piernas and asked to have Cebollas azadas to both. I also ordered two gorditas, one al pastor and another of azada. Starving and with a migraine already, I drove home as quickly as I could to enjoy lunch.When me and my partner opened up our tortas, we where presented with soggy bread, no fixings on the tortas, and all there was on them was piles of meat and scant amount of cebollas azadas. In the gorditas container was a wilted brown and sad looking salad? Watery tasteless beans, and two gorditas with nothing but meat and scant amount of cheese. One of which was mor dough than anything, not to mentioned getting spoiled salsas.I know times are tough and many restaurants quality has somewhat taken hits due to the ongoing circumstances, but for a place that wasn't that great to begin with, to drop any lower? All in all, if you're looking for good decent Mexican food, I'd recommend Taco Cabana and Taco Bell before telling anyone of this place.

Used my UberEats gift card for pick up from here, and happy with my choice! The outside is definitely a little dinky and so is the inside, but I'm here for food. Got al pastor street tacos that came with everything and beans. For roughly $8, the serving was really big that I got to have it for lunch the next day. Food was made fast and fresh, my food was ready in about 8-10 minutes after I ordered it! I like the marinade on the meat, it wasn't overly strong, and paired great with the obvious toppings of onions and cilantro. Also not super oily which is a HUGE plus for me! Would recommend ordering take out from here but the eating inside vibes aren't as fun. The server who gave me my food just didn't seem interested at all in her job and the inside was kind of empty, but there is a drive-thru window on the side of the restaurant that I noticed 3-4 cars in line for, so I'm sure that's where most of the business is!

Save your money and time and order from another restaurant. We placed an order for 9 items (included plates and desserts) and only received 6 of the items. No salsas was provided nor tortillas plus they sent us a burnt plate of flautas. Stay away from this restaurant!
