Taqueria Jalisco

Best hole in the wall in my opinion. It's not in the best neighborhood in the town, but I think it's worth the drive to come. The attempt at authentic Mexican food here is better than a lot of places in town. The inside is a bit dated and not as welcoming as you would like(the cashier area is one of the most confusing and hectic areas ever). Let's get to the star which is the food! The menudo, well one the better ones I've had, and guess what it was spicy! Like it should be! The carne guisada was also above average. If you come here I recommend getting the corn tortillas instead of flour. You will thank me! Also if you love spice like we do, ask your waitress for the spicy sauce, the real spicy sauce. She will bring to you only if you ask. The waitresses have always been awesome and the coffee was great. Not very many negatives, at least to mention. I wish places like these were given more notoriety when it comes to best of lists. These restaurants, local and loved, far exceed some of the places on the "supposed best of list". Maybe because we don't vote. My friends taco taco cafe is not it. It's not even on my top 100. If you really love food, and aren't afraid to come to a place in shopping center, this place is a must!

Chips were cold and stale, coffee was cold. Food was expensive and tasted bland. No flavor whatsoever, if I was rude I would of simply walked out of this diner. I should of left when I tasted the chips. I felt something in my gut telling me if the chips are bad then most likely the food will be bad too. I will never come back here. The only thing that was good was the water.

Taqueria Jalisco was a great spot for an authentic meal you can find in San Antonio. With a very fun decorated dining room, the owners do there best to give you a feel of their own culture into your dining experience. The meal itself was good, and the price was expected just like any other Mexican restaurant. The complimentary chips and salsa is always appreciated. This is a simple spot for a quick meal with a little feel of Mexican culture.

The picadillo enchiladas and the plate on skillet w fajitas & shrimp are BOMB as fuuuuu.I'll keep it short & sweet w just those recs.

Like my 5th time going to this restaurant and service was on point, Everything was fantastic from the drinks to the delicious food. Consider trying this restaurant out when you get the chance. Very delicious

Service was amazing. Potato and chorizo was delicious and chips were fresh. There red and green salsa is spicy and tasty.

I've enjoyed ordering tacos for pickup so today I thought I'd take my family to dine in. Never again will I give these ppl my money. 90$ ticket. $3.50 for each refill. $2.50 for each can soda. Even charged for each To-go box and foils. Wow. Do not recommend

Service was quick. The chicken fajita is better than most Mexican restaurants. The horchata is good tooo!

Appearances are misleading with this authentic tex Mex restaurant. They offer to go and dine in options and the staff is always friendly and understanding despite language barriers. The food is amazing, you can tell the put love into their cooking.they offer good deals as well with breakfast tacos and other menu items. The lemonade and tea is always on point. I just love this place y'all

The line does not go by too fast, and for the wait They gave us old tacos for my little one! Very nasty.
