Good tacos. We were in the 'hood because we needed the 24 hour Walgreens up the street. So we drove west a little and saw this restaurant.Very nice and pretty, lots of tables and booths. TVs and an internet jukebox. Three credits for $1.00. Not bad. Their drive-through is doing a killer business. Be careful if you park on the west side of the place, you will have to cross the drive-through line. Most drivers are gracious and let you get across. After all, we are there for the same thing. I had tacos: bean & egg and a bacon & egg. Flour tortillas are OK, the fillings are quite good. The husband had migas. Only comes with beans and tortillas. He asked for corn, got flour. Because isn't that what gringos always order! Ha, ha. He had cheese and pico de gallo added to the migas. Now didn't they just become chilaquiles? Bottles of red and green sauces are left on the table for you. Service was good, but no check left at the table. You just need to know to go up to the register. Ok. Give them a try when in the area.

I am here for the first time. After reading mixed reviews and impressed with an owner who responds to reviews and seems to want to improve, i wanted to try it out. Service with a smile upon walking in. Friendly waitresses and very attentive. Chips and salsa - salsa is good, spice. Chips are ok. Don't seem super fresh. Atmosphere - busy for lunch with a busy drive through. I'm certainly the only white guy In here, which I'm used to and that's never a problem with me.Torta was very tasty and bread was very fresh. Quesadilla plate was very good! Plenty of cheese today. And came with rice and beans. Over all a good experience. I'd go back.

I was craving some Caldo de res and I found this place trough my maps. Very friendly service in general. The caldo was the ok, not all the way what I was expecting so just ok. My only issue was the waitress told me she wasn't sure if there was caldo de res but, she was going to go check. She came back telling me the caldo was available so brought me some salsa and chips. Well, it took about 20 minutes to get the caldo on my table. I have to mention on the cart you can read "caldo de res every day" so, you can imagine my thoughts. Mmm where's my caldo if seems to be an every day and common dish? Other than that the place is good, if you want to wait.

I use to eat here frequently when I worked in the area. Love their beef fajita quesadillas! I normally order this plate. The order comes with 3 good sized quesadillas (white queso) plus beans, rice, and salad. I gave it 4 stars only because the quesadillas needed a bit more queso. Their food is pretty darn good and reasonably priced. They also have lunch specials M-F which usually include a big ass glass of tea. The staff and owner are friendly and quick to serve you. I recommend this place if you are looking for a good Mexican food restaurant with decent prices.

Breakfast is always great here. The owner is always here which makes everything flow smoothly. Their lunch time nachos are pretty legit. They're tasty and come with plenty delicious things smothered on them.

This is a very small place that is not upscale whatsoever. But it has authentic Mexican food that is reasonably priced. My wife and I have been here several times. The breakfast tacos are delicious and are always warm and fresh. Barbacoa is good and is available every day and not just on weekends. Some breakfast tacos are 3 for 2.99 special. Country and egg is my favorite. Barbacoa and other specialty tacos cost more, of course. This restaurant does have a drive-thru, so if you're in a hurry and just want to pick up something quick like lunch or breakfast tacos, the drive-thru is fast, friendly, and convenient. I love that when I order barbacoa tacos they always add onions, cilantro, and salsa in the bag without me having to ask. If you're new to town or a tourist and want to stay closer to the downtown area, there are other restaurants along the Riverwalk and downtown area or you can grab a quick taco at the Market Square. If you're not afraid of a little adventure, try this place. You won't be disappointed. Great food, good people, and there's a flea market across the street that's open most days of the week.

I've been here a few times for breakfast and lunch/dinner.This place always gets my order wrong so I have to wait even longer than they already take. The Food is mediocre at best, I hate the cheese they use it always taste odd... and the horchata is chunky. The service and place is nice enough inside. The food isn't good to me and the constant messing up of my orders make this place terrible, but it's close to home. Going to Roy's (when they're open) because it's way better!
