My sister had recommended this place to me for tacos and honestly, they were amazing! You get HUGE tacos for such a great price! Definitely worth the bang for your buck. I also love the chips and salsa that you get at the table too. The chips are so crispy and feel so fresh.I got 2 barbacoa tacos on corn tortilla. I've never seen a taco with such a huge portion of meat in my life. I could barely finish the second taco. I was honestly full about halfway through the second taco. The barbacoa meat tasted so great. The food came out relatively fast too.The service was great too! I would definitely come back here. I want to try the puffy taco and other meats for the regular tacos too. Highly recommend this as a spot for authentic tacos in San Antonio!

Recently renovated so place is updated. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. The only negative is breakfast is only served til 11a and would be better if it was later. The food is a good combination of tex mex food and authentic Mexican food.

Food is terrible real greasy no matter what you eat. There rice is disgusting. Waitresses are more interested in their tip instead of serving you. Kinda stinks in there. Not very appealing. Go somewhere else don't waste your money in this dump.

Ordered 2 puffy tacos to go and got something that did not look anything like a puffy taco. It was soggy and flat. I had to use a fork and knife to eat. I was extremely disappointed! Food was luke warm when arrived home and I only live 2 blocks away. Food tasted good that's only reason I gave 3 stars

This may not look like a fancy, upperclass, exclusive, wealthy refined restaurant , but what they lack in appearance they make up for with their food. The food here is very good and I highly recommend that if you like shrimp, chicken and beef fajitas on a sizzling steaming hot cast iron plate that draws the attention of the entire restaurant get that plate because it tasted phenomenal. Though it took longer than expected to deliver my order they did not disappoint, the service overall was ok but I was not aware that you are supposed to seat yourself when you first enter the establishment seeing as there were no signs that stated anything about seating. Then again it was not all that busy as there were very few people dining in tonight. The restaurant does look like it's running on a low budget from the seats to the menus, the booths are pretty tore up and there is some ware and tear to the leather but they are still suitable for seating. The menus however need an upgrade seeing as they update menu items by marking out prices and other selections with a sharpie, this could become a very big problem if that one arrogant, ignorant, self entitled customer happens to have a sharpie and changes the price when the hosts are not looking. Price overall was very much within reason seeing as the quality of the food was superb, but in the end it all comes down to how much you'd like to spend on your preferred dish wether it be fancy or simple but I don't think you'll be disappointed with what they have to offer on their menu. To finish, the food is great, the service was ok and the restaurant needs some work done on it both inside and out but if you'd like to budget on eating out this is the place to go.

The cheese dip is *nacho* cheese dip like Rico's, NOT queso. I asked for small starter plate and the lady brought me a dirty plate and I had to point it out to her. The tacos were large but very salty.

Been here a few times.. it seems to be hit or miss, though mostly miss as of late. The bacon bits you get now are hardly worth the increase in cost, which now most places like this, pass to us customers when we pay with a card. Think I'll just go somewhere else, and If I were you.. I'd do the same.

I come here 4 times a week and the one time I complain about the food they turn rude. Started making excuses instead of fixing the problem. Lost me as a customer.

I've been coming here ever since I was a little girl and the food has been consistently good! I always recommend it for their tacos, I can't get enough. I appreciate how big their plate portions are. The service is the best. I've never had a problem with any of the servers, they're are always super nice and someone will always greet you when you walk in.
