First time here. The food was served quickly and tasted great. I ordered the asada plate with cheese. The red salsa had a nice kick. Loved it. Kids loved their quesadillas and enchiladas. Small, quaint restaurant with great service. Would definitely come back!

Got some of the BEST chilaquiles I've ever had, and in the afternoon on top of that! A little pricey, 2 tacos and a sweet tea was $10 but adjusted to inflation that's about right.Breakfast Tacos

Just happened into this little corner spot one Saturday afternoon with a low tank. I was afraid I'd have to use my flabby spanish language muscle, but nope; the waitress happily spoke gringa (and spanish with everyone else).This is a small little neighborhood joint with solidly decent eats. Some musicians came in, played a few [expert] songs, came around with a can, then went off to their next stop. The waitress said they often have music on weekend evenings; the daytime thing happens "sometimes" (when the traveling musicians pop in, apparently - no gimmick; just hustle).I'll go back when hungry in the neighborhood: the menu has plenty of options. Breakfast is served all day. Menudo is available daily. The service was efficient and friendly. The rest of the room seemed filled with happy regulars.

I had a fridge full of food at the office and a grill on the back patio of my building. Knowing all that, I didn't want my own cooking. I wanted to eat at a place I've never eaten at before.I've passed this place at least a hundred times on the way to my office and back home. It's tucked slightly off of Blanco road but within sight. This place would be my choice.They had three lunch specials available and I opted for the barbacoa mini tacos with comes with complimentary tea. I always feel better when I see a restaurant over half full with customers and I walked in about 11:15am with this place already three fourths full.How was the food? Seasoned perfectly. I added no salt, pepper or additional condiment. It needed no additional flavor which I consider a great testament to food. I ate all 5 mini tacos with gusto. I like how they serve complimentary tortilla chips to start and I loved their salsa brought to my table. Regarding the salsa, the food not the dance.Who did I see? Another great meal here at Charro tapatio. Food always comes out hot, fesh, and delicious. This place is a hidden gem with excellent food and great service. Never disappointed when coming here. They offer lunch specials with tea included and always great breakfast. Conveniently open from 6 am to 10 pm daily and till 11 pm Friday and Saturday. Awesome.... Big Dog Two's up

Absolutely love this locally owned business. Excellent food and excellent customer service. Some of the best Mexican food I've had here in San Antonio. Everything is made fresh including the tortillas. I will definitely be coming back!! Didn't get any pics because I was too hungry :)
