Chips and salsa are addictive. The chips are so light you barely realize you've eaten a whole basket. Something in that salsa haha cause it's all I crave sometimes. For entrees, the Crispy Tacos with Piccadilly are my go to here. Love a good homemade taco shell with an airy, crispy texture. Though sometimes they can get greasy, the overall flavor is tasty. I love their rice and refried beans. If you can't decide between charro or refried, I'd always go refried at datapoint. The nachos are bomb too.I love that they are open late so you don't always have to go to IHOP for a late night snack. But sometimes the service during the day can be spotty. It can be hard to get the servers attention but the good always comes REALLY fast. It can also get busy, but most days we can get a booth seat.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Service was good and the interior is what I was expecting. I ordered the carnita plate which was yummy! I believe all plates come with either corn and flour tortillas. One of the really good Mexican spots I've had in a while. Their refried beans are nothing like other refried beans I've had. Their beans were tinted red and it had more flavor than just the basic refried beans that's slapped on your plate haha. My carnitas had nice crunchy ends--not too dried out. Portion size is standard. Thanks for having pictures in your menu so customers know what they can expect!

A pretty traditional taqueria in the SA style. Decent food with a good variety for most tastes. The menu has pictures to know how the plate is prepared and/or for the newbie or A bonus, the staff doesn't ming or get grumpy if you practice your Spanish The space is a small shopping center, corner situated with good light. Pretty casual, clean and we'll maintained. Thumbs up

We had dinner here last night, both my wife and I had the mini tacos, I had the carnitas and chicken, she had the asada and the chicken, we both agree that the carnitas and the asada were the best, not that the chicken was bad, it was good too, the staff went out of their way to accommodate everyone in our party of 15, and we went to the Medical Drive location, everyone else's food looked great, I should have taken pictures...

Salsa and Chips were fresh with good flavor. Beans appeared to be made with chorizo, different from regular refried beans. The Gordita was sweet, which was odd with the Carne asada. Best dish was the Fideo a la Abuela!!!! Cheese, Avocado, beans, meat and fideo -- although seems like a busy dish the combination of everything was delicious!!! Pretty spacious restaurant for being in a shopping center.

Here is an update for what has become our favorite neighborhood restaurant. In truth, Marjan and I visit this eatery almost every Saturday morning. Taqueria has become very popular with the locals, tables filling not only Saturday, but Sunday mornings as well. Couples, families, workers on break, men and women in uniform, all now enjoying the offerings. Our favorites have become their warmed salsa and chips, tasty flavoring with just a hint of heat....delicious. Another favorite is the chicken fajita taco, generous chicken, unique spicing that sets this taco apart from most we have enjoyed. And if you have grown up enjoying mom's menudo, then you must give their menudo a try. But come prepared for a filling portion, as the bowl is ample! I usually order my menudo with pozole, and a side of rice, and friends the dish is very down home!! This iteration is gentle on the spice, subtle and definitely not overpowering. Delicious! We have enjoyed the caldo, the street tacos, the gorditas, the guisada, each entree as satisfying as the other. And we would be remiss if we did not write about the staff. Welcoming, friendly and attentive. If hungering for paradigm Mexican fare, give Taqueria Datapoint on DeZavala a try. We think you will be pleased!! Enjoy!!

I've gone through the drive thru 3 times so far and each time has been an experience today the least. All three times, the lady that takes the order forgets my drink and I have to remind her. That could be stopped if the waitresses weren't in the back gossiping and ignoring orders (which you can see from the drive thru). They keep gossiping even while your order sits there. Today, my food was so cold and gross and yes, she forgot my drink and I had to remind her again. The first two orders were exactly the same and yet the price changed by 2 dollars. I'll never go back.

Decent Tex-Mex food, with average service and ambiance. Great choice in the area. The menudo here is a favorite.

Food is fantastic. Service and ambience are lacking.Daughter was craving Caldo and truly oohed and ahhed through every bite!I dipped into some Birria tacos (see what I did there?) which were yummy--so much flavor and bits of yum in that consommé!! Definitely will stop by again, but maybe takeout next time.

Love their huevos rancheros plate with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon. I ask them to lightly brown the potatoes to add a bit more flavor which they do for me with no problem. The refried beans are delicious too. The ranchero salsa is super yummy! Good size portions and my to go orders arrive home hot which is a plus. My daughter enjoys their breakfast tacos too.
