Don't waste your time or money here. The food was extra greasy and made my stomach hurt. The rice was hard, beans had no flavor. Way over priced for what I got.

Very hidden taqueria, you can easily pass it by. It's the first right on sandmayer @ N new braunfels ave. They have a really nice special M-F, which is 3 tacos for $3 and some change, they all have to be the same taco by the way, (6am-11 am) for the early birds. The tacos need a little flavor but if you put your own salt and pepper and maybe a little salsa then You have some really good tacos here!Doesn't seem to busy in the mornings so you can easily get your breakfast fixing here.

This was an authentic Mexican place we could see from our hotel. They're popular for their breakfast tacos but we wanted just traditional tacos. However, you need to order the minis to get the traditional corn tortilla tacos. When we ordered ours, I was still deciding. I was planning to get the carnitas or al pastor plate and figured I'd try a bite of my husband's tacos and see which I liked better. The waitress was really surprised when we asked for corn tortillas and we couldn't figure out why until they brought the tacos out. They were massive! They were also in the same style as their breakfast ones. We ended up just splitting them. The salsa was nice and spicy and the tacos were unique and fun. The one downside was I had to ask for a lot of things that usually just comes with tacos, such as limes, salsa verde, and something else I can't remember now. It was a little frustrating since I could see some staff just chilling near the back. We got all of our tacos on corn tortillas but their standard type is flour so be sure to speak up and mention which type you want!Loved- Tacos: Al PastorLiked: - Salsa- Salsa: Verde de Aguacate - Tacos: Carnitas (best with salsa verde de aguacate)Ok: - Queso: Amarillo

I've been coming to this spot for years, back when it was Johnny's. To be honest, I prefer the new owners and cooks. The food, especially their standard salsa, is spicier and with flavor. You know what I mean, a lot of places will tell you their food is hot, and it is, but there's no real flavor. That's not true here. I've not had a bad meal yet and the staff are friendly. They adhere to COVID prevention measures and what I see as their normal patrons do as well. Almost everyone wore a mask unless they were actually eating or drinking, to include when they got up to pay. We'll keep coming back.

This place was introduced to me by some coworkers at Ft Sam. Their breakfast tacos are delicious! We do a potluck almost every Friday or every other Friday and this is the location that will have our order ready by 6am when they open. I just wish the tortillas were homemade. I've had tacos in other places with homemade tortillas, which make a difference.Other than that, I won't complain since its right next to Ft. Sam and will have the order ready by the time you come pick it up.

We order takeout here a lot and have had a consistently good experience. They're fajitas and mini tacos are excellent. I'm a big fan of their salsa as well.

My mother I came here recently, her idea ! I wish we wouldn't have because the food was good it was actually terrible so much so that we both couldn't finish it our plates . The meat in the enchilada had had an odd taste , maybe bay leaves which doesn't have any business in enchiladas. The cheddar cheese was flavorless as well . While the service was great my review is based solely on the quality of the food .

The food is always solid and i was happy with my meal. However covid prevention measures were not adhered to. One server was not wearing a mask. While there were signs saying masks were required many customers were not wearing them while walking or upon entering. Instead of spacing out tables they had the entire back half of the restaurant blocked off so seats were only available in half restaurant. Sadly i will not be returning while covid is a concern.

If I could give less stars I would. This place is trash. Lady working had pink eye at register. The food was disgusting and the tortillas were reused. I had ordered the half pound of Barbacoa and it looked like dog food. They took it back and even the cheese enchiladas were garbage

First time visiting this restaurant, we started with four mini taquitos, Carnitas and Al pastor, they were simply amazing!!! Then we ordered sopes, 3 carnitas, and cheese and they were unbelievable, and I am the pickiest eater in the world. Definitely coming back to this place. The service was outstanding, very nice, friendly, and professional.
