Reminds me of Jaliscos. Got a variety of tacos and a chilaquiles plate, first time order.The tacos were on the bland side, but well stuffed and with a smothering of their green sauce, it all worked.That green sauce, can I get quarts to go?The chilaquiles plate left much to be desired. The color was atrocious and unappetizing. The plate was mostly onions, beans and cheese, reminded me of an onion and bean taco without the tortilla. This plate is not something I will try again, or recommend.Overall it was "good" and we'll definitely be picking up tacos here instead of Chachos, and I'll keep trying different menu items. It's nice to see some food places coming back to Leon Valley.Now if I could just get a burger nearby that is NOT Whataburgermess!

Came across this gem with a coworker while we were on the prowl for a decent lunch during our break. The place was not super busy, is very well-lit and clean with a good parking situation. For dine-in, we were told to just have a seat wherever we liked. It turned out the first spot we picked was right under some kind of A/C vent that dripped intermittently. We only noticed after our order was taken and the food was brought out, but they promptly just let us shuffle seats. What I will say is, I think they should have put a small sign out to say not to sit there because over the course of our meal, the same thing happened to two other customers that sat in the same spot.That being said, I ordered the pastor mini tacos. They come out with all the fixings, and let me tell you - the meat with some of the grilled onion, cilantro, avocado, and lime for just $6? And pretty generous amounts of meat on each one. Amazing. The chips are really good, fresh, have a nice flavor and don't feel greasy or brittle - the salsa was great, not watery, just enough kick. My coworker got the enchilada plate, and the portion size was fairly large as well, it smelled great. All in all, I get the impression that if you come here, no matter what you order you're going to come out the other side well-fed.They also have a small selection of snacks and confections on display at the register which I had to resist the urge to buy, because I could have gone for a dessert too. I ended up pleasantly full. The staff was all super friendly and attentive to everyone in the restaurant. It's definitely a humble establishment on the outside, but don't let looks deceive you. The service is quick, the food is good, the location is convenient, the prices are fair. Definitely want to come back and try more things!

Very helpful staff, delicious and savory food with an authentic texmex taste! This was my first visit but definitely not my last. I did a quick drive thru run on a Saturday morning and the carne guisada hit the spot!

Excellent food and excellent prices they have great prices on Uber eats! Sweet tea is good as well they have the best refried beans

Amazing service! It was our first time there and at the drive thru menu we were met with a kind and patient voice. Once we FINALLY decided what to order, we ordered the Mexican plate, Combination plate and an order of steak nachos. We were greeted at the window by a lovely woman who ensured we had the salsas we wanted, the amount of lemons we wants and that we had our drink. Our wait was a few minutes and before we knew it we were on our way. The food is absolutely delicious. The tacos and chalupas are the star of the show simply because we've had good enchiladas but having good enchiladas as well as having good tacos is a first! Rice and beans were delicious as well! Rice was soft but not mushy and beans were refried but not old, perfect!!Our limonada was delicious as well!Overall amazing experience and excellent food! *Picture is missing the taco because it was eaten before the picture was taken... oops.*

Review is based on two visits, one great and one bad. My first was a week ago, tacos had great flavor, good tortilla, and decent size. This week not so, tortillas tasted like they were left out overnight, potatoes undercooked, no flavor, and very small portion. I could accept a small portion if it was cooked right and had some flavor... or if I was buying the 3 for $3 deal, but I was not it was regular price. Since it was good once we will try again hoping this was just a bad day for them. I will update the post once I visit again.

Went there this afternoon for lunch food was good service was good. When I went to pay there was a line which is understandable, two ladies in front of me and two or three behind me. While waiting in line a man goes to the end of the counter and stand there when it's my turn to check out he say something to her and she checks him out instead of me! I asked her if if I was invisible and she said he was paying for the people behind me. After I paid I seen the guy over talking with the people at the table he paid for. I think the cashier handled it poorly and the customer was inconsiderate. Although we will go back because my wife likes the food I will not order anything again.
